He's retired from Barack's church, so please be accurate when you release this crap. Also, please point out to everyone that this site endorsed Hilary , so it isn't exactly unbiased.
This is old news…this was a speech given February 10th - Obama has publicly decried these statements AND the guy is no longer the Pastor of the church. Maybe it would be nice if Perez presented all the facts…

The fact that this clip is from 2003 (I believe, I may be wrong) doesn't mean it isn't relevent. This is Obama's pastor, mentor, spiritual advisor, and inspiration for several speeches and his second book. Obama has been sitting in the pews listening to this man for 20 years. Jeremiah Wright just retired a couple weeks ago, and it doesn't even become official until May of this year. But that in no way negates what Obama has willingly participated in with this church for the past 20 years. And Obama can now say whatever he wants to try and distance himself from this now that people are finding out about his true beliefs, but the fact is, no one attends a church faithfully for 20 years, no one raises their impressionable children in a church, unless they believe in what's being said from the pulpit. Obama's wife has already shown herself to be anti-American, and now a large portion of the American population are being shown evidence that this pastor, a huge force in Obama's life, is also anti-American, racist, and filled with hate. There are many, many more sermons like this that Obama has sat and listened to in this church. How can anyone honestly believe that Obama doesn't share similar views to those of his WIFE and PASTOR??? It's just too bad this didn't come out sooner, maybe it would have woken people up before they voted for the wrong candidate.

I believe that pulling out the race/gender card in this whole election is getting quite ridiculous and people should not stand for it. I commend Barack for not trying to use his race to get ahead in this election and condemn Hillary's campaign for using it against him. Furthermore, Hillary uses her gender to her advantage. It's about the world and the issues.

I recently met an Iraqi woman. She lived in Iraq, her family is from Baghdad and never traveled farther than Jordan until now. We met at a barbacue on Sunday. I was trying to be especially nice to her because I wanted her to know that we Americans have deep feelings about Iraq and that many were sorry that our country ripped into their land "to steal oil." I was telling her this in an apologetic tone for our govt. and for Bush. What she told me was surprising to me, and I thought I would share it with you.

We have so much."

She said that her mother and others in her neighborhood bake bread and pastrys for the soilders when they patrol the streets, and that the American soilders are not allowed to eat what Iraqis give them just in case they give poisened treats. But she said the soilders are very warm and trusting and they take the breads and pastrys and enjoy them so much.

They are not afraid of this oil stealing or colonizing because they know the US will eventually leave, but the oil the Iraqis give with pleasure for security and would even want a US base there. Now she is talking about the Iraqi people feel this way in general and that it is others outside of Iraq that want to destroy the US.

Anyway, she said, "Do not worry that the US created worse. We had no jobs with Hussein. We have jobs now. Hussein murdered us. We do not worry about Hussien anymore. AND we don't want the US to leave because then who will protect us. And if it costs barrels of oil, we are happy to give it all for our security."

I think our natural instinct is to care and help each other, and I think Americans are good people. We get frustrated though, by how difficult life is, and the advantages we see other people having, because they are of a certain race( white AND black). Then we lash out hatefully. I do think we need to take the time to really understand what life is like from the perspective of the people we are so threatened by. We're all damaged by our history, and we're all responsible for our part. Blacks aren't blameless in the current condition of their culture and whites aren't living with unlimited priviledge.
But if i were black, I would probably agree with Michelle Obama.
I would probably have grown up not feeling proud of a country that dragged my family over here, used them as free labor, legislated discrimination against them, etc.
I am a hillary supporter, but i am not anti-Obama. I think it;s silly to call him a terrorist. I do think we should take a long hard look at the people around the candidates. I bet if you looked hard enough, you could find a picture of McCain palling around with Sally Kern. But maybe thats ok with you.

Playing basketball on a day off of school 4 white girls were approached by some black teenagers who demanded to use the court. Some adults intervened and the black teenagers left only to return in a pack of up to around 30 rampaging boys and girls.
Screaming slogans like "Black Power" and "Martin Luther King" the 30 teenagers started a bloody melee lasting around 20 minutes. Some girls ran into oncoming traffic in an attempt to evade the youths but were beaten and bruised after the attack.
One girl made it to a nearby house but was dragged back to the playground by her hair. Two of the girls were hospitalized in what is being called a non-racist attack: "This is not being looked at as a bias crime," said a NYPD spokesman.
Thousands of cases like this have happpened, but they don't get publicity.
But that's not the point here. The former Pastor at Obama's Church is basically teaching his congregation to be bigoted, angry people and that everyone is out to get them. If people continue to listen to people like this racism, poverty and everything else that follows will continue to happenl.

Truth hurst, don't it? America may not have explisitly deserved the 9/11 attacks, but to say they involve themselves in other country's affairs, siding with terrorist and even training them would not be lying.
Sometimes speakers like to make an attention-getting comment to grab the audiences attention so as the rest of the content doesn't fall on deaf ears. It's a sneaky method, but it would be interesting to hear the rest of the sermon to get some idea of the context.
In short, he's not wrong in point, but wrong in execution.

This is not positive. Martin Luther King was positive. The pastor made derogatory comments about Hilary Clinton in a Dec 2007 sermon that aired on TV last night. The pastor only retired last month. It doesn't matter that some of his outrageous comments were made years ago. He obviously still feels the same way if you view his recent sermons.
