After watching her on SNL last night, I can be positive that I won't be wasting any money on her. (And SNL only liked the money shots to begin with. Thanks, but I can live without the upskirt shots!)

Why do artists like Mariah feel compelled to put annoying no-talents in the middle of their songs? The song wasn't that good anyway but adding T-Pain only made my ears bleed. Mariah's first single is a catchy, fun radio-friendly song WITHOUT a blood curdling interruption by some rapper. Mariah, you can sing….we prefer to hear you and not T-pain, who's just a plain pain in the ass!

This is a great club song, and whats great about Mimi unlike the bland wannabes (who i wont name but Perez endlessly promotes) is taht Mimi is versatile she can sing mid-tempos, ballads and club hits and they all sound incredible. Her first song on SNL sounded subdued, she wasn't throwing her voice into it, but at least she wasn't lipsynching—which I think Mariah wwould never do. Maybe she was nervous? SNL's stage and acoustics are not the greatest forum for a diva. Toward the end of her second song she cut loose with those vocal chords a little bit and it reminded me of good reliable ol' Mariah. (I have a feeling that Mariah wide-open would be too much for the SNL audience and studio. Modern, rap/hiphop/synthocrap music should definitely have been less—seems teens want that these days—unleash the Mariah voice…!!!)
