she has such a great voice but we have yet to hear it since the old Mariah…..she fell victim to what she thinks people want to hear as opposed to what she can deliver…..she is not a hip hop artist…..she is pop…..let us not forget that……..she is washed up…….some artists do not know when it is time to retire….and what is up with the lace belly shirt???? i know the 80's style is coming back but come on…….

The song is okay, but based on this song and touch my body, I think her last album is probably going to be better than the new one. I will be in no rush to buy this one. Why are you comparing Mariah with Madonna? They are so different. One of them is so hugely successful at a relatively earlier stage in her career because she has a lot of talent. The other is good at repackaging herself and creating controversy so she can sell tickets to her circus show.

i wonder what she is going to do after this album….up until 1997 she was mainly the housewives favourite with her continual but albiet hugely successful power ballads…after 3 or 4 bomb albums (for Mariah anyway…1 - 3 mil opposed to 10 - 25 mil) and then a period of ""nervous exhaustion" she became very popular among the teenage generation…but when the next album drops, say 3 years…they will be in their 20's and the huge teenage US record buying market aint gonna touch a 40 year old….Janet…Madonna anyone? Madonna sells massive abroad, Janet has suffered, Mariah does just ok (though excellent in Japan)…i think she will have to produce something spectacular to continue her success stateside after this album or return to middle of road style where she started
