    These "celebs" who bring out books on subjects for which they have no qualifications are dangerous. He is an actor NOT a health professional. People suffering from major depression, as I do, are put at risk by these people who just see targeting a specific group of people with their unqualified advice as another avenue to make money. I would do anything to rid myself of my depression. But even so, I am not stupid enough to follow the advice of snake-oil advocates like Carrey. The worrying thing is that some people might.

    Oh, I just hate it when celebrities make irresponsible comments like this. It's another reason for someone to just stop taking their meds and become very, very ill and possibly suicidal. :(

    oh shit…..he has for sure been brainwashed by tom cruise. scientology is a cult folks. sure, supplements may help some people but i think it is scary to convince people that all or most cases can be treated without prescribed medication. it is very irresponsible.

    it's called true hope. www.truehope.com. Read up on it. Research the facts. This WILL help you, when all else fails, and you don't want to be on conventional medication, these vitamins will CURE your depression. It has for me.
