Bob Irwin, dad of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin reportedly left the famous Australia Zoo because he doesn't agree with daughter-in-law Terri Irwin's plans to sell the zoo property.
Terri supposedly wants to relocate to her native U.S. with kids Bindi and Robert.
What would Steve think of that????
Zoo insiders claim the rumoured sale to cable network Animal Planet and plans for a $100-million Disney-style wildlife theme just doesn't sit well with Bob Irwin. It's not in line with keeping "his son's dream alive."
An Australia Zoo spokesman denied claims that Miz Irwin was planning to sell the zoo and relocate to the U.S. with her two children. However, she refused to comment on future plans that might involve Animal Planet, after the zoo announced its expansion.
In other news, legal troubles go on for Mrs. Crocodile Hunter, who is being sued by debt collection agency Alyssa Treasury Services.
She was allegedly involved in a seemingly shady business transaction with a tax commissioner.
Alyssa Treasury is suing Australia Zoo for $2.5 million and Mrs Irwin for $60,000 for allegedly failing to pay bills of exchange.
Selling the land or hooking up with a big corporate partner will surely allow her to pay her debts plus lots of play money!

MARINE WORLD AFRICA USA located in Vallejo , California was a wonderful place to go and discover and amazing amount of both marine and land animals. Everything from a Giant African Millipede, to the famous Yakka and Vigga - two beautiful orcas (aka Killer whales). There was a modest arcade, a life size Blue Whale structure filled with plastic balls to play in, cargo nets to climb (ok i see why they got rid of it, it was a little dangerous to little kids who parents didn't watch them close enough). Essentially it was all about the animals, not screaming roller coasters.
HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART!!!! After Six flags took over around 1996, and renamed it Six Flags Discover Kingdom, and within the first two years 60, I repeat SIXTY animals incuding two rhinos died. The bird show would come to a stand still because the birds would fly away to seek protection in the trees from the new amusement part monstrosities. Later Yakka and Vigga died, replaced with one single lonely orca Shouka.
Their PR rep can yabber on about how much money they've made. And how they are making a difference In the latest years, the tiger attacked a woman who was taking a photo ($500 opportunity), negligenty killed a giraffe calf, and have caught the attention of PETA for their abuse and substandard housing of their elephants (which also have died). I have personally seen them jab hooks to get elephants moving.

I am sure Terri has thoughtfully weighed out her options, and there is nothing wrong with her doing what she sees best, even if it is selling the zoo and moving. She is entitled to her own decision making. Also, I think it's shit that people are making fun of Bindi's looks. She is a kid for crying out loud! I am from Australia and we just saw an interview on one of our night time current affairs programs called "today tonight"- Terri said she will be living in Australia, has no desire to relocate, and that she saw Bob only 2 days ago and there is no rift between them..she also talks about the expansion of the zoo and says it will definitely become bigger, however sources can confirm they were discussing this relocation prior to steve's death.

How sad for everyone involved. I wouldn't blame her if she wanted to move back to the US and be with her family, but it would be very earthshattering for the kids. The zoo is what they know and love.
