It's called picking. It's what people on meth or crack or heroin do. That is so not impetigo, which is a bacterial infection easily cured with antibiotics. My friend who was walking this line got MRSA too. Twice. I also have all the sympathy in the world for the drug-addicted. Once you're there, it's a bitch to turn back. If you haven't been there, you don't know. So don't judge, but also, if you believe that impetigo nonsense, go back to reality school.

I had impetigo twice as a kid, when you're most likely to get it. It usually goes away after a week or two. She's had this for several weeks already. And that discoloration on her cheek is definitely not impetigo.

Her scabs aren't consisten with picking or MRSA. She caught impetigo–which is highly contagious and ANYONE can get it, so I would stop making fun of her, bitches–and can last for weeks, even on antibiotics. As a former drug addict I highly agree that she needs to get some help, but jeez, Perez, you can't blame EVERYTHING on drugs.
