The Avett Brothers are by far my favorite band ever. They make incredible music. I just purchased my tickets for a show in NJ in July, and I cannot wait to see them!! This will be the third time I've seen them, they are amazing live!!

i loooove the avett brothers! i'm from NC and have seen them 3 times! they're kind of grunge-bluegrass. i think they call themselves grungegrass. they put on an AWESOME show, tons of energy and not youre typical country! THANKS!!

The Avett Brothers are ridiculously good live. Their recordings just don't do them justice. I'm Asian, and I HATE country music with a passion, but I love the Avetts. Nice choice.

Never in a million years would I have guessed Perez would be one of the first in "Hollywood" to catch on to the absolute magic of the Avett Brothers! To those who doubt the orginality of this group (Ahem, "burnplant",) I urge you to give them a try. They don't deny their roots and influences, but they are like NOTHING ElSE in music today. While they are best appreciated at a live show, it is well worth checking them out on the web. They are the genuine thing. But if your into the crap that passes itself off as popular "music" today . . .then your palate may not be ready for a taste this good.
It's so nice to see these Carolina boys gettin' so much love… The Avett Brothers are one of my favorite bands ever, and they are great guys, and deserve this oh so much.

North Carolina…..yeah baby! I love the Avett Bros I saw them perform in NYC and then in Wilmington, NC a couple months later. They are amazing. I love the southern soul and folk tone of their music.
So I totally love the Avett Brothers (and have loved them for a while now)….I am so thrilled that folks are starting to get to know them and their awesome tunes.

If you bother to check out the Avett Brothers at all, you will hear how different they are from other country and bluegrass music. They bring a hard alternative edge to it and they are amazing. (Check out "Talk on Indoence", my man….)
If you haven't heard the Avett Brothers purchase Emotionalism NOW and see them live ASAP. You will not be disappointed.

The Avetts are pretty much a big deal. there is one thing though…why does every one have to try to categorize their music? They have so many different sounds now….from PG from Chile to If It's the Beaches to SSS…those are all different. I cannot even count how many times I have seen them…oh and we ran into them one morning at breakfast in Chattanooga. Very nice and humble and extremely hot!

Perez, I am so glad you gave the Avett Brothers a mention. They are terrific on their CDs and they give a real kick-ass live show. They are like heavy-metal bluegrass - but can do the ballads well too. I have seen them live three times. The first time was in a coffee house in Ashland Virginia - Ashland Coffee & Tea - and they were amazing! I had never heard anything like them before. These guys really love their music, and appreciate their audience, and they are nice and hard-working. They deserve every bit of success they are gaining now.
avett! love love love them! the first time i went to see them they were opening for the Old 97s, whom I adored, but they blew them away! Seriously, they brought tears to my eyes. They did an instore a few months back and I took my long haired 5 year old to see them and not only did he sing every song right along with them, but they gave him the show pick at the end of the set. They rock!

They're albums are amazing and the energy they have in live performances is infectious. Thank you for recognizing a band so worthy of praise..
Bluegrass Infused Rock…I love it. I grew up a huge Dead fan, thanks to the Avett's I have other good music to be a fan of again. These guys rock, I never thought I would see 3 guys shreding and headbanging on traditional instruments….

I love the Avett Brothers and I saw them on New Years 2007 and previously in August of 2006 at the Festival Essex. In May of 2007 they had a c-d release party at Manifest records in Charlotte and my boyfriend, well ex now, broke up with me there… so they bring up weird feelings now.
