If thats what rich looks like then no thanks I'll pass.
I think it is unfair for anyone here to be calling either Tori or her mother names or to make assumptions as to what is really going on in that relationship, who is at fault, or whatever.
Tori has obviously had quite a priviledged life, something most of us don't know anything about, AND she has had a pretty decent career which has garnered her quite a bit of money, which many of us know nothing about either. Did she not bank some of that fabulous cash?
No one knows really how much Tori got from her father, but I can only hope that Candy was fair in the disbursement of those monies. Sure, Candy probably has more money than god, but it is still her money.
I absolutely hate seeing either one of them on the attack of each other. My mom and I tested each other on and off for years but not like the Candy/Tori relationship. I lost my mom 5 months ago and I miss her so much. I hope both of them can find a way to make this situation better and quit having to defend themselves constantly. I would imagine Aaron would never have wanted any of this for either his wife or his daughter. I hope both of them remember that. I wish them both well.

What is the big deal about the book you would think that she is just greedy why not give the kids a bit of what their dad had. He obviously kept them well and she is not even keeping that up I don't think not that they are entitled to it at all it just seems strange

Her issue should be with the medical staff. If she doesn't want to talk with them about her daughter (which is certainly her prerogative), then tell them.

Tori did the right thing writing that book. If this selfish beyotch won't share with her own daughter and grandchild she deserves to suffer the embarrassment of everyone reading about what a mean beyotch she is.
Candy's crazy and so are the whole surgical team for paying attention to a tv in the OR!! She wants to keep track of everything Tori is up to obviously. What a witch for a mother! She sure has issues she hasn't dealt with yet. She isn't going to be a good granny because she hasn't been a good mom.

I wish someone in Hollywood would write a book about all this to find out what are the true facts behind all this. There's no way Aaron Spelling was still a hick from the sticks at 83, living in one of the biggest mansions in the world. He knew about money, and let Candy have control of all of it. He knew about the conflicts Candy and Tori had. She is 23 years younger than him, he knows she will live a good long while on his money, as will his children. WHY didn't he disinherit the mother who is having an affair while he is ill? Dominick Dunne wrote an article for Vanity Fair after Aaron died. He said no one was visiting him or was with him, just the maid vaccuming the room. What is she so busy doing while he is sick and dying? There's a real story here with where the truth lies.

This woman is a complete cold-hearted sociopathic bitch. I read Tori's book…NO, it was not the MOST deep and intellectual read, but it was insightful and revealing. I CANNOT BELIEVE the horror Candy Spelling put her daughter through! I read the book in less than two days, mostly waiting to fiind out what kind of calculated ploy she would pull next. She would exploit, humiliate, and derogate her daughter with such levity..it was disgusting.
Maybe Tori does have a small sense of entitlement to the inheritance. $800,000 IS a LOT of money, but considering how she grew up, what she had been accustomed to, and HOW MUCH much was left after the death of her father, I can understand how she would feel shorted.
Her whole childhood was filled with MONEY=LOVE, money, money…waved in her face. She never learned how to manage money, and didn't need to…for better or for worse.
She hated that Huge MANOR, and longed for a more simple life. She knew how much she was to receive from his will. But enough money to be a stay at home mother and raise a family without having to work her ass off isn't a ridiculous expectation considering her father left over a half billion dollars.
