Did you even watch the episode? They were defending her.
That was so gross and tasteless that it wasn't even funny really. And I usually find their humor funny.
It actually made me feel bad for her. She does seem to be getting better as of late but if I was Matt Stone or Trey Parker and she did commit suicide, I would feel really terrible.
She has obviously made some bad choices but given her upbringing, I don't know if I would fare any better. Moreover, it seems clear that she has some mental health issues. I don't really think suicide is funny.
seriously, that was really sad…i mean, certain claims have been confirming that she has been suicidal…that's really not a funny joke at all….and it's so sad that she barely gets to see her kids.

I think everyone needs to calm the fuck down. South Park is always controversial. That's why they've made it. But, obviously, none of you can see that the whole message of this episode was actually FOR Britney, not AGAINST her. The whole point of the episode was to make a point that everyone needs to leave her alone before something drastic happens, LIKE HER KILLING HERSELF FOR INSTANCE. You're all so fucking close-minded. And obviously have NO sense of humor.
in it's own very clever way (and it's cleverness can only be sustained by people with a sense of humor and an understanding of SATIRE) South Park has done it again. this is brilliant and as far as britney is concerned, she will appreciate this episode more than anybody!!! at least somebody understands that the frequent and habitual media coverage could actually KILL her.

People all seem so shocked, but this is typical South Park. Yes, they're gross and shocking. But the show is made by two intelligent men who have a good point, and use entertainment and shock value to show it. The whole show (not just a clip) seems to be their way of trying to help her by pointing out how far we're pushing her. I'm just as guilty as everyone else. Maybe we should take their hint…? I don't want the poor girl to die, but it's starting to seem like that's the direction she's going, willingly or not.
I adore gossip. It's part of my morning wake-up, it makes me feel better about my day. I've argued my addiction for years (part of being famous means being hassled, we all know it and famous people knew that before they started, you can't have one without the other and if you don't want to be in the blogs, don't act like you do…normal people get by just fine not partying nightly and flashing their vadges, and besides, they seem like they can't go without it), but I think it's gone far enough. Lines have been crossed.

I think Trey and Matt are worth every cent they are paid. South Park is consistently one of the most entertaining and creative shows on tv. Every one of us could find an episode that would get our hackles up. THATS THE POINT. It makes people look hard at themselves instead of at each other. The entire point of the episode is that people who hound celebrities and follow their every move enjoying their miser are incredibly sick and are just making the problem worse. The episode was FANTASTIC because it points out in a way that no other show can just how fucked up our celeb-obsessed society can be.
