I saw Britney recording a track when all she could do was croak and her fans and management going wild over it. I saw Britney on stage supposedly singing when she had no head and her fans loved it. I saw her fans screaming for her to cut another CD when she had no head. You better rewatch that show, it wasn't kind to Britney or you fans. I'm still waiting for South Park to get funny after the writer's strike. Two weeks in a row I have sat there without so much as a giggle.
You know, it was just evil, ugly, mean, hateful…wrong on so many levels. NONE OF YOU ARE GETTING THE POINT, EVEN AFTER OVER 400 COMMENTS TELLING YOU WHAT THEY REALLY MEANT. This episode went WAY over your heads. The whole point of this entire episode was to show people that the media just tries to trash Britney and make her look terrible even if she's not really doing anything wrong. And that the media's priorities are COMPLETELY out of whack. For instance: interrupting the presidential debate for "BREAKING NEWS" that Britney Spears peed on a lady bug. They made her look like a horrible person for it and then it shows her in her hotel room saying "I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT WAS THERE!" ..It's showing that they'll go to anything to make her look like trash. As for her killing herself, it wasn't South Park's goal to MAKE Britney kill herself. Their point was to show everyone that IF THEY DON'T STOP FOLLOWING HER, HARASSING HER, MAKING HER LOOK LIKE TRASH FOR MINUSCULE THINGS that it COULD reach that point. If I was Britney, I would be HAPPY to watch this episode because even though it was done humorously and crudely (that's South Park's TRADEMARK, you really expect them to be politically correct?).. That their whole point was to LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE before they drive her to do the unthinkable. South Park didn't "go too far"… They're one of the only people DEFENDING Britney. If I was her, I'd be thankful. At least SOMEONE is finally defending her.
