Ahh…the things celebs do to promote their movies!
Seems like even SJPeePee will resort to some funny business to get our asses into the movie theater.
Remember that 'Unsexiest Woman Alive' poll that Maxim did last October? The one that placed SJP at the top of the list?
Well, looks like PeePee's peeps are using that poll result to get her some free press in this important time period before the Sex and the City movie release.
Here's the set up:
PeePee goes in for a scheduled media interview.
She blows up when the interviewer asks her about the Maxim poll.
Other media sources pick up the story that SJP 'lost' it when she was asked about the Maxim poll.
Yay! She just scored free press!
Case in point. This week, PeePee was interviewed by the British mag Grazia.
Here's how she responded to the OLD Maxim poll:
"Do I have fake boobs, Botox and big lips? No. Do I fit some ideals and standards of some men writing in a men's magazine? Maybe not. Am I really the unsexiest woman in the world? Wow! It's kind of shocking when men… It's so brutal in a way, so filled with rage and anger, so it was surprising to me that more people didn't talk about the providence of it, that it's coming from these men. […] It's condemnation, it's insane. I guess you can't please all people. But I played a lot of parts, women that are really interesting and attractive to me. Obviously someone thinks I'm palatable to some degree."
Her 'anger' was then reported by media outlets worldwide.
Funny thing is PeePee's publicist was sending out her Grazia magazine 'outburst' to people around town.
Gotta give her people props for squeezing all they can outta the 'outburst'. Ha.
As we sit here typing this post we accept that we've also been sucked into SJP's whoring game.

We just received a comment from SJP's publicist. Here's what she had to say:
"I will look into it but I am sure you would want to report accurate information and not repeat inaccurate info. I have never spoken with anyone about the issue you are refering to and most certainly have not contacted anyone to proliferate it."

She is not aging very well. She is too thin I think.
I think that's terrible that the media has made her feel this way and made her have to defend herself (and her personal appearance) like this. She is so talented and perhaps not a sex symbol like many others but still she is great. She's not a fake person, she's real and living her life. And she provided great entertainment to many of us during SATC. Why does she have to be slammed and criticized?
It sucks that everyone calls a man more handsome as he ages yet when a woman gets older people cut her down. I think it's great that she hasn't had botox and that she has her own unique style and identity. She shouldn't have to deal with polls calling her the most unsexy woman…that would make anyone angry!!
Oh please there is a lot worse.

While I do not believe she is the worlds amzing beauty, I am not about to sit here and rip anyone apart. I believe that if anyone believes they have the room to talk, they should submit their pictures and allow everyone to take a poll. Game on!

I think the fact that a magazine has a list of most "unnattractive people" is absolutely ridiculous. Regardless of how you measure attractiveness, slapping someone at the top of a list like that is ruthless and unhuman. Who gives a shit if she did it for "free press". I'd be pissed off, too.
look i love sjp and i loved her show sex and the city. i have the whole set and i watch it all the time. for some reason it always makes me feel better after a bad day. I think she is so cute and tiny. I can't tell u how many times i watched her on that show and thought damn i wish my body was like that. She is adorable and she can wear anything and pull it off. I just hope when i am her age i look as good not saying she is old but i'm 23 so ya and that pic of her is a bad pic it don't really even look like her she is glamorous and i love her

SJP is a positive role model to all women. During the show Sex and the City she was the ONLY one that did not go topless for the camera. Not saying that it's wrong to do so, but it shows that she has self-respect and that she does not have to strip to have the main role on one of the most popular shows on tv. I do not think that she is the prettiest thing out there but her personality makes her beautiful person. And she IS like in her 40's!!! Give her a break. She has had no surgeries/botox and still looks better than the average 40-somethings out there!!!

Just because she doesnt pose half naked and inject botax into her face regularly doesnt mean shes the worlds ugliest person. This woman is so unbelievably unattractive, that with all the makeup available to her, all the stylists available to her, the guidance, every time there is a picture of her I can't quite make myself look at it straight on, I want to see it with my left eye half open, with my right eye half open, both eyes closed, looking to the left, then looking to the right. I mean: It's like I want to give the photo all the opportunities, and…the only thing comparable is when Rumer Willis used to look so incomprehensibly unattractive herself. You just don't want to look at the picture, period. (I should just about now take my mental health medicine.)

That's obviously a terrible photo and completely unfair to her. It's the only one I've seen with that kind of look/lighting/facial expression. Find a few more shots comparable to those, like that unflattering, and then maybe I'll agree. For now I think she's great, and Maxim just likes stirring the pot, which it did well and successfully. I think she's beautiful, just not in the conventional, Botox/lip collagen/tanning bed obsessed Maxim covergirl way.
