Yesterday we mentioned that Madonna's new album, Hard Candy, was #18 on the Amazon best sellers list for CDs, and it isn't even out ’til April 29th.
Well, today the album is at #2!!!!
So awesome!
Mimi managed to move up as well. She's currently at #40, but still a far distance from her Madjesty.
E=MC2 is out BEFORE Madonna's record (on April 15th), so we're a bit worried about her sales. Hey, at least she's on the list now. Yesterday, Mariah wasn't even on Amazon's top 100!

Madonna is the best…Mariah and Janet are just good. Deal with it.
I think that the 2 marketing strategies are different. Madonna also released her album cover and track listing before Mariah did. Maybe Madonna needs more of a head start to get those sales? Mariah doesn't…she just needs to have a record out and it will sell.
You will see. Mariah is more relevant to more audiences. Madonna is becoming more irrelevant by the year…

You guys need to seriously get a life! Pedro has a right to his own opinion! Not everyone loves everything that Madonna does. It called constructive criticism!! I love Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Mariah Carey-but that does not mean that I love each and every one of their songs. Janet has some good songs and some crapy songs on her latest album(which is still in the top 10, Haters!). With the exception of "Miles Away", all of the other songs from "Hard Candy" suck. As much as I love Mariah, I have to agree that "Touch My Body" sounds like all of her other music. I've herd other tracks that leaked that sound much better. There is no need to argue or compare these women to one another. None of them know any of you personally. And while you guys are here creating all this madness, they are chillin' and counting all their millions and not paying any of you any mind.
