who are these (gay) people saying this? where is the proof? and if they are, then don't listen if you don't like it. I agree! I'm not homophobic, but if you don't want people to judge you for your sexuality then don't flaunt it. I don't run around trying to show or prove that i'm straight, so if being gay is strictly about sexual preference then why is it so important that you show the world. Every gay person wants to be treated the same as anyone else yet I don't go out of my way to "act" straight, I just am. If you're gay, great, be gay but why do you have to shove it in my face?

This asshole is typical of many people in Oregon - the only thing nice about Oregon is the coast (oh - nd no sales tax) - and thankfully, in the summers it is full of tourists - so you don't even have to deal with the local rednecks.
Oregon is trying to get several anti-gay issues on the November 2008 ballot, and has a long and violent history with this sort of thing. People have lost lives over this sort of thing in Oregon in the past - and Oregon is so back-woods, that a documentary for TV was made out of it!.
Fuck Oregon and Gary George. Come to gay-friendly "beautiful British Columbia". You can even get married here to your same-sex partner. We love to talk about it too, especially in the streets, and have a huge Pride celebration and parade every year!
