As a 28 year old hardcore music lover, I can tell you all right now that Madonna's music sucks bigtime. Give me some Amy Winehouse, Jill Scott, Mariah Carey or Alicia Keys music any day but no Madonna! She is not talented! I can even sing better than her!

On another note these other ladies and most American artist aren't such international selling artists. Madonna is truly an international force. If most of slow America (and I'm American) can't get with the program then be left behind. Europeans are people of culture, diversity and class. The music scene is actually COOL in europe where real talent is recognized and praised. While someone like Mariah can have the best selling album of '05 Madonna had a decent selling album in the US in '05 and when tallied with worldwide sales Madonna is the real deal.
