Looks like Jamie Lynn Spears and her babydaddy, Casey Aldridge, won't be having a bastard child!
Sources are claiming that the younger Spears sister is sporting some hardware on her ring finger.
A family insider reports, "She's got an engagement ring. She's been showing it off and talking about it."
An official wedding date has yet to be announced and the happy news has yet to be officially confirmed.
Wonder which mall store Aldridge bought the ring from????!

While it's nice if she is engaged, I think it would be a big mistake for them to get married right away. A long engagement and marriage at no younger than 18…it might have a chance.18 is even too young so…..
Ya know—this shouldn't even be an issue—-this situation should have been "taken care of" from the beginning.
I would encourage my 18 or under daughter to do the same. Hell I would take her to the "procedure". But then I have and education and a career…..I would want my daughter to have the same.
She has her whole life in front of her———-ridiculous.

You need to be married before you concieve.
The whole point is the idea behind it, so if you quickly marry just before the baby is born it doesn't mean anything except you randomly got married after having pre-marital sex and getting pregnant.
You need to get engaged THEN have sex for the first time, then get pregnant.
I don't believe in waiting until you are married to have sex or have a child but if you do then what's the point in doing it this way?
It's obviously just for show.
Nothing will change if they do get married. It will just calm the religious people a bit and save their face a little.
But no one will be *stuck* with anyone. They'll just sign a paper and continue life as normal. Being married doesn't mean you need to live with someone, being married doesn't mean you can't be secretly dating and living with SOMEONE ELSE.
