Amy Winehouse's skin seems to have cleared up a bit, but it still looks like shit! The impetigo-suffering singer was spotted (with heavy makeup on) in London on Monday.

impetigo is a skin bacteria that can be remedied with a skin cream. DRUGS did not do this to her skin, and it is not ACNE!! I mean, the drugs have done enough. I am glad she has said yes, yes ,yes to rehab. She has a beautiful voice and ole school style, she is talented and I pray for her strength.
If you have impetigo, you should not be covering it up with heavy makeup - that's probably the worst thing you could do. Just the act of spreading makeup across your face can spread the infection.
She needs some good antibiotics. Don't they have Bactroban ointment in the UK?

I know a lot of people who were REALLY BAD heroin addicts and that is exactly what their faces looked like….it only gets worse. I feel really bad for her. Addiction is hard in the first place and have your picture posted everywhere and people talking about you makes it harder. I LOVE AMY WINEHOUSE and I wish her nothing but the best!

Can we be honest here for a second? I love her music, but that isn't impetigo. Those are crack/meth sores. Impetigo doesn't sho up in random spots all over your face like that, anybody who's kid has had it could tell you that.

That's not impetigo. It's cause from picking at your skin when you're high on drugs. You're so effed up you don't even feel that you're breaking the skin, then it becomes obsessive, meaning you can't stop. Cause you can't stop doing drugs, your skin just gets worse and worse. Endless cycle, do drugs, pick skin, do more drugs, pick more skin… Clean the hell up girl. Ain't nothing sadder than a drug addict.
You know what? I don't feel bad for this bictch! She has been given chance after chance to get better, she has everything, a support system, resources and she still dosn't really try. I used to like her but I have no respect for her anymore and I am sick of seeing her ugly face.
I've had this skin infection before and I do modeling and it sucks. It really does. My advice though is she needs to stop caking on the make-up and get a good prescription of Ciprofloxacin which clears up bacteria infections of the skin.
She's gotta stop it with the eye thing! That looks horrible.
If she would stop wearing makeup and just get rid of it. That would probably help. Shes just spreading it by putting makeup on and rubbing it all over her face!

I used to have acne really bad, and I can tell you that it SUCKS. I feel for her, having a break-out like that. And NO, Pro-Active doesn't cure all. Maybe she needs actual meds for it. That's what I had to have.

Having worked in addictions for years I can say with confidence the impetigo was brought on by her lifestyle.
But, thanks to the likes of Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan, rehab is now a fashionable joke. How can you expect them to stick with it?! Even you Perez tried the holier than thou "we're not posting picks of so and so in rehab, we're taking the moral high ground"…it was here I saw them first.
