why would anyone ask chelsea clinton a question in the first place? they should just come here and read the postings of the greatest internet poster ever born.

  2. debsi says – reply to this

    102

fuck it. neither barack, clinton or mccain will turn this country around…what awful choices we are left to choose from.

  3. Melissa says – reply to this

    103

When are people going to get it through their head that when you CHOOSE to be in the public life that ALL areas of your life are on display. And it is not like she is a 10 year girl. And her Mom is not auditioning for a movie….she is running as the leader of our country. Toughen up ladies, and you are NOT allowed to be human when you are trying to get a job that requires super humna strength and integrity (or at least it should).

  4. angela says – reply to this

    104

unfortunely it is our business she is running for President if she doesnt want it to be our business then she should stay out of any public eye! I have no respect for any women who stays with a man after being cheated on.

  5. Kacy Cunningham says – reply to this

    105

I have a problem with Chelsea's response only because this was an opportunity for her to show the people just how strong of a woman her mother is. Instead of telling the person who asked her this question, "It's none of your business," She should have pointed out that going through a situation such as infedelity in a marriage is extremely difficult for anyone, especially if you have been married for 20 yrs, but her mother not only went through the "monica lewinsky" scandal, but the Jennifer Flowers thing and a few more as well. She should have pointed out that her mother went through one of the most humiliating and painful episodes in her life, not in private but infront of the whole world. The fact that she was able to keep her dignity and integrity intact, speaks volumes about her!

  6. Ashley says – reply to this

    106

    I beg to differ - A presidential candidate's 'credibility' is absolutly the public's business….such a shady family…

  7. kare says – reply to this

    107

It' a fair question. Of coarse she couldn't answer it and yes it's hurt her credibility. If she was such a strong woman she would of left his ass.

  8. clinton killing the party says – reply to this

    108

Ok……it is really time for the superdelegates to step in and crack their whip. Clinton is killing the party,

  9. Lori says – reply to this

    109

I dont understand why this is an off limits question. It was asking about her moms credibilty. This was a great chance to tell people all about how she is creditable and strong even when things are hard. And whether she likes it or not this was a part of history. We have a right to know. I cant believe they didnt breif Cheslea on this.

  10. Ron says – reply to this

    110

Re: cess – She's there for political reasons, and Hilary's business is thepeople's business…that position that she is trying to rise to is the most public position in the country. I think Hill better cut her loses and pull Chelsea off the trail.

  11. Obama for Pres says – reply to this

    111

I look forward to Hilary Rodham Clinton's endorsement of Obama for President. Likely to happen in mid June. Nancy, Harry, Al and Howard will see too it.

  12. chelsea is not a perfect product of her parents says – reply to this

    112

Re: Chelsea a bitch just like mom?
EXACTLY! Exactly.. she took it as a personal attack when it was a very legitimate queston. I wonder if she would answer it the same way if asked again.. probably not if she would use her head instead of her adrenaline.

  13. HRC is a liar says – reply to this

    113

"The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is." Winston Churchill

  14. ladylindsay says – reply to this

    114

What a dumb question. The answer is obviously no judging by how well Hillary's campaign is doing. The asker was just trying to be a jackass. But Chelsea should have just said "NO" instead of "none of your business."

  15. julia says – reply to this

    115

as much as I am pro-hillarycampaign, she could have responded more polite. Sure, if you don't wanna talk about it, you can say that but "that's none of your business"? That is not very dignified.. she could've said: I'd rather not talk about it, or something…

  16. Jessica G. says – reply to this

    116

what a bitch. there was no need for her to be so rude to the student asking the question. she could have just said "no comment" and left it at that. but what does she expect? her father made it everyones business when he had an affair while in office. the clintons are a bunch of scum bags who should never be given control of our country. i'm all for a female president, but not that bitch hillary. i'm moving to canada if she wins.

  17. why should chelsie be as strong as her mom? says – reply to this

    117

    Re: Douche
Chelsie is a baby, compared to her Mother's experience in PUBLIC.
They sheltered her and if someone ask me about my dad poinking anyone, I'd probably punch their face off. It is none of anyone's business, perfect answer..especially under all the pressure she suffers daily. Hillary can take anything and turn it into Gold. Jealous?

  18. billie says – reply to this

    118

Ya know, I've had to deal with that same situation when I was a teenager- back where I grew up, my dad was a public figure. I'm glad Chelsea said what she said…really, it's nobody's business but the people it directly effects. Good for her for speaking her mind.

  19. Deadlytongue says – reply to this

    119

….. who does she think she is .. Sarkozy?
Their "private life" are as public as it concern to the people of the country they pretend to rule one day …

How will they handle all the problems the nation is facing without giving to their people a "We are an strong family, my Mom defeat a hard time in her marriage and she never gave up to find a solution" …

but that answer?… If I was her, I will just give up!

  20. Valentina says – reply to this

    120

This did not happen on Tues. I go to Ball State University in Indiana and she was here that day. That actually happened at Butler near Indy. I think it's pretty funny though.

  21. OWOW says – reply to this

    121

Definitely agree with Chels here. That was a good question ask, yet still lacking a bit of respect. I don't think Chelsea wants to remember that dark time in her life. I think she handled it well.

  22. GO CHELSEA says – reply to this

    122

    GOOD ANSWER GIRL!!
EVEN IF HILARY DOESNT GET VOTED PRESIDENT,I HAVE A FEELING CHELSEA MAY ONE DAY RUN AND WIN IT.

  23. KC says – reply to this

UM, I DONT THINK BILL GOT IMPEACHED….RE-READ YR HISTORY DOUCHE BAG.KEN STARR TRIED TO BRING BILL DOWN BUT DIDNT SUCCEED.

  25. kdjffadkjl says – reply to this

    125

that was a really rude response. I wish she would just drop out of the race

  26. Carolyn says – reply to this

    126

Good for her. It was Bill's credibility that was hurt by the Lewinsky scandal, not Hillary's. Chelsea was clearly tahen off guard there and there would have been no "right" answer.

  27. Nikki says – reply to this

    127

What a biotch! That was an honest question and obviously she's afraid to give an honest response. I'm very disappointed.

  28. Obama 2008 says – reply to this

    128

Fat Lady, Poor pitiful you! The Fat Lady has already sung after 12 states! By landslides!! Barack just kept serving it up to old Hillbillary!

  29. Lisa says – reply to this

    129

That was a totally valid question, and did not deserve such a bitchy response! Chelsea…you're father's a whore! You're mother is not qualified to run our country! And you have no business taking questions if you're going to be such a snob!

  30. intimidating clintons says – reply to this

    130

This is amazing! Democrats are finally seeing the exact same thing in the Clintons as the Republicans have known for years. They will lie, cheat, intimidate and do anything to stay in power. They will destroy anyone in their way.

  31. PEREZ HITLER says – reply to this

    131

Re: Chip – TYPICAL WHITE TRASH RESPONSES WHITE PEOPLE ARE SO RACISTS'EVEN IF HITLERY WINS THAT IS HOW SHE WILL BE RESPONDING TO QUESTIONS BY PEOPLE, HITLERY IS A FAKE ASS WHITE BITCH. ALL WHITE PEOPLE LOOK LIKE AMY CRACKHOUSE!!

  32. reba says – reply to this

    132

um, yes it is our buisiness if were going to vote for her, and she didnt have to be such a bitch abou a relavent question. just another reason why we should go with obama.

  33. maryann says – reply to this

    133

this would have been a great oppty for her to defend her mother's honor and instead she let her emotions get the best of her. In hindsight I bet she is so disappointed in herself. She came off like a little spoiled brat.

  34. kimmi says – reply to this

    134

Ok, when did she get prettier than Rumor Willis??? And f(*& thet snotty biotch. She should have answered the question. Her "mom's" credability has been questionable at best for years.

  35. Mom on Coffee says – reply to this

    135

It is OUR business. Bill got on TV, lied to us all, lied under oath, then apologized for it all. Hillary said NOTHING. The Clinton camp had to know this would come up, they should have been prepared. Instead, Chelsea ends up looking completely obnoxious. With the fact that Bill is campaigning for Hillary, I'm surprised that it hasn't come up more!

  36. wat the hell says – reply to this

    136

UMMM SO HILLARY IS A FEMINIST? HOW MANY TIMES HAS HER HUSBAND CHEATED ON HER? AND WITH HOW MANY WOMEN?

    AND SHES STILL WITH HIM!

FUCKING LOSER… EVERYBODY KNOWS HILLARY IS A LESBIAN

  37. Princess Mandie says – reply to this

    137

OMG I go to Butler and I was there! That was sooo intense!!! I thought I was gonna fall out of my chair!

  38. Carl says – reply to this

    138

Chelsea is just as big an asshole as her mother. The guy asked a very fair question. How is that "none of his business"? Hey, Chelsea, 'you want to pull attitude on us, guess what, you lost our vote, in one quick shot. Now go back to mimicking your pathetic mother.

  39. snowflake says – reply to this

    139

I don't think it is a child's responsiblity to answer to there parents mistakes… good answer ms. clinton

  40. Katie says – reply to this

    140

What a cop out answer! I was never voting for Clinton, but that was a rediculous response. She mangaged to make a not personal question…personal. That in its self was hurtful to her mothers camp.

  41. reba says – reply to this

    141

Re: Mary – perfect response- completely agree!!

  42. learning the ways of Clintonics says – reply to this

    142

Hillary's recent efforts to redirect attention from Bos-gate is Hillarious! Now even precious Chelsea has been recruited to cover the lies. Sound bytes indicate she is learning the ways of Clintonics quite well.

  43. krrn says – reply to this

    143

    go Chelsea! good for her!

  44. Bara says – reply to this

    144

Totally legit question. She should have been prepared for something like that. The question was about her mother's CREDIBILITY… not personal life. She could have came off as very mature and smart if she had answered that differently. And the way she's aggressive by staring the person down and ranting about how many colleges she's been to, is kind of inappropriate. Rude! Don't campaign for your mother in the public spotlight if you want to have such a strong sense of privacy!! We can rant about what Obama's pastor did but we don't have the right to question credibility of a presidential hopeful on a presidential scandal?

  45. shameful says – reply to this

    145

I find it incredible that the super delegates haven't ended this shameful charade by Clinton. After yesterday's "Sniper Fire" whopper you would think she's lost any remaining credibility.

  46. erica says – reply to this

    146

HAHAAHAH yesss i was at that!

  47. hillary 35 yr of lying experience says – reply to this

    147

Wow, now I know what Hillary's experience is in, it's lying, she's more experienced in lying than Obama and McCain. Imagine that, Hillary is fully vetted because of her ability to lie better than her opponents.

  48. bored says – reply to this

    148

I think the affair did hurt her mother's credibilty and I think it was a perfectly fair question. One of the reasons I dislike Hillary and will not vote for her is I have NO respect for her at all. How many times did Bill cheat? And she is still with him? Why? Because she is willing to sell her soul for power. I would have more respect for her if she had actually left her husband and did the political on her own, not based on his reputation.

  49. For Barack All the Way says – reply to this

    149

First of all if you think that was not a mature way to answer that question that she and her mother are sadly mistaken. You are campaigning for your mother and you should expect questions reagarding your cheating dad. Hell I would cheat too if Hilary was my wife but she should have been more prepared and come up with a better answer rather than to be so damn mean and come of as a spoiled ass child. That is why Barack is going to beat her stupid ass.

  50. yea, and we don't care how many blowjobs were involved says – reply to this

    150

    Re: PAY ATTENTION DOUCHEBAG
At least it wasn't with a guy and at least he didn't steal the money from the American people. He put money and jobs in
the American people's lap. I love him and the whole family. They will take this mess and sweep through it like they did the last time.
    Can't wait until she's president.

  51. truth says – reply to this

    151

ok I thought before I saw it that, that would be hard to handle for anyone but she should of had lawyer there to say stop. I mean does she know the real, answer? bush has speech writers ,get some so you can answer even though that we know most answers are bullshit from any politics but she really shot her foot off and her mothers. I am not suporting bush just the fact that she still at this point can not be on her own like him .

  52. dropping out says – reply to this

    152

If Mrs. Clinton and Senator Obama's spots were reveresed and she were ahead and he were behind with only a 5-10% chance of winning, can you just imagine the outcry from Hillary supporters shrieking and demanding that he drop out?

  57. wally says – reply to this

    157

while the questions stinks, so does politics. I agree that she should have been prepared to get that question at some point if she's out there stumping for mom. An honest answer would have been refreshing. I think that Hillary missed an opportunity during the Lewinsky scandel to make a statement on the public's boundaries and privacy in her marriage. Hillary should have answered that question a while ago. Her lack of a position back then hurt her credibility with me. I dont think I have ever heard her say I forgave Bill, but my marriage is my business back off….Love Bill Im just not too sure about his wife…

  58. Attarus says – reply to this

    158

"None of our business!" Her mother is "our business!" If you can't take the heat about your mother get off the stage. Oh! She did that!!!!

  59. Chelsea saiz says – reply to this

    159

"That's none of your business…" Apples does fall far from the tree. They are both harpies.

  60. meme says – reply to this

    160

Wow, what a crappy response. It was a completely valid question, and it goes to asking how her mother can deal with adversity. The problem is Hilary's credibility was hurt and there is no way Chelsea was going to lie or acknowledge that it was. If she had any self respect she would have left Bill right then and there, but she was more concerned about politics and running for office herself. It's disgusting. I think that answer speaks volumes about the whole family and the values they have instilled in their daughter. The whole family disgusts me.

  61. samantha says – reply to this

    161

    Hillary Clinton's credibility isn't the public's business ?…

Obviously, Chelsea isn't as glib as her father.

  62. Hillary's List of Lies says – reply to this

    162

    Admitted Lies

    • Chelsea was jogging around the Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. (She was in bed watching it on TV.)
    • Hillary was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. (She admitted she was wrong. He climbed Mt. Everest five years after her birth.)
    • She was under sniper fire in Bosnia. (A girl presented her with flowers at the foot of the ramp.)
    • She learned in The Wall Street Journal how to make a killing in the futures market. (It didn't cover the market back then.)

  65. kc says – reply to this

    165

Totally lame answer. It *was* the questioner's business whether Hilary's credibility suffered as the result of Lewinsky. That should be the business of *any* voter.

  66. Rachael, Scotland says – reply to this

    Chelsea got OWNED!!!! hahaha

  67. Hillary's List of Lies II says – reply to this

    167

    Whoppers She Won't Confess To

    • She didn't know about the FALN pardons.
    • She didn't know that her brothers were being paid to get pardons that Clinton granted.
    • Taking the White House gifts was a clerical error.
    • She didn't know that her staff would fire the travel office staff after she told them to do so.
    • She didn't know that the Peter Paul fundraiser in Hollywood in 2000 cost $700,000 more than she reported it had.
    • She opposed NAFTA at the time.
    • She was instrumental in the Irish peace process.
    • She urged Bill to intervene in Rwanda.
    • She played a role in the '90s economic recovery.

  68. Jenna B says – reply to this

    168

BITCHY, seriously the question is legit…like it was said "If you can't handle ur own family how do u expect to run a country?"

  69. Angie says – reply to this

    169

The WHOLE WORLD was brought into the PUBLIC TRIAL of the Lewinski Scandal. For anyone to say it is now irrelevant is naive. It is a valid question, it is OUR BUSINESS, and we deserve a real answer. Here's a question, who's going to babysit Billy Boy and his cigars while Hilly-Billy's is in the oval office?

  70. Adam says – reply to this

I think she handeled it quite well considering. Who exactly here wants to talk much less THINK about their parents sex lives? Even a political or famous person is still a person. ewwww.

  73. truth says – reply to this

    173

also people have e-mailed me saying they might change their vote.don't go out there if you can't handle it.I mean did she really think taking braces off and getting strait hair makes it all go away , where do the Clintons live in pre war london? damage control should be around the corner but once again, what are we going to hear she had a bad day she was tired,I mean clintons and obamah families have claimed this , is that is what is going to happen when they are in other countries, or dealing with them ?

  74. david vg says – reply to this

    174

go chelsea! thats what she shoulda said…

well i think she should have said "that is irrelevant, and none of your business"

but yea, she shoulda had that response.

It was a fair question. The "act" was done in the White House while he was president. As a taxpayer, I'm still appalled. And yes, it did ruin Hillary's credibility.

Love the "sniper attack" lie. These two have made lying an artform.

    OBAMA '08!

  80. Savannah says – reply to this

    180

I support Obama, but I also support the Democratic party as a whole. I have alot of respect for Hillary Clinton (I am going to see her speak this Saturday) and I also have alot of respect for her daughter, Chelsea. I think that this response was absolutely brilliant and I am glad that she is such a strong female role model. Regardless of the outcome of the primaries, I am confident that America will soon have a very strong, Democratic president in office.

  81. the truth hurts...... says – reply to this

    181

That's right- Shame the person asking the tough question!!!!!
I strongly doubt her leadership abilities based on her marriage, & her inability to 'negotiate' fidelity into her relationship with her husband
I think this is a HUGE sign of weakness. & I wonder what will happen to her (lets pretend its possible for a moment) presidency, when she's dealing with another sex scandal, & public humiliation?!?
I think Chelsea was pre-prepared with this response, knowing it would come up, & being prepared to slither out of it

  82. jennzz says – reply to this

    182

    Oh geezzz

    what a typical Clinton response,,,

the Clinton's are dressed up white trash,, and have manners nor any idea on how to answer questions like that,,
B1tch needs to learn some manners!

  83. Axxcexx says – reply to this

    183

    Would have sound lot better.

  84. Southern Dem warns party to avert disaster says – reply to this

Democrats are increasingly nervous about their party’s protracted nomination fight, and some prominent figures are publicly warning that the party needs to act fast to avoid disaster.
    Its abt time.

  85. Vindicated says – reply to this

    185

The question was rude and stupid. But so was the response.

  86. Carl says – reply to this

    186

It was an excellent question in light of her mother's lies about avoiding snipers in Kosovo. The question basically asked "Can your mother still have the respect of foreign leaders despite past scandals such as Lewinsky?" If Hillary is seen as the husband of BJ Bill and not taken seriously, how are we to survive in this competitive, dangerous world with her in charge?? Chelsea showed what a ridiculous, inexperienced rookie she is with her answer. She wasn't asked what she thought of Monica swallowing her dad's cock. She was asked if her mother can lead effectively despite all the past scandals. Please, Chelsea, go back to being somebody's assistant.

  87. Lilia says – reply to this

    187

Perhaps if you read more on the story than the short video shown, you would see the person that asked the question meant it to be a good thing. Lets face it- Clinton's have been stigmatized by daddy getting head from an intern while momma was there all day long. He was asking the question for Chelsea to talk about the strength of her mother and family. However, Ms. Chelsea bombed. And please…out of all the colleges she's been to, not ONE person has ever brought up an intern sucking on daddy's lollipop? I find that hard to believe being apart of a college campus and hearing outspoken students all the time.

  88. Suze says – reply to this

    188

I think it was a weak response…but I also think that the question was a bit weak. Hillary's credibility and the Monica Lewinsky case have nothing to do with eachother. BILL's credibility on the other hand is another story. If the student wanted to be a bit more controversial, he should have asked if Hillary's credibility was harmed after the Whitewater scandal.

  89. Good 4 U Chelsea! says – reply to this

    189

The jerk in the audience was staged to upset her. Politics is dirty but Chelsea has every right to tell a RUDE jerk to MYOB!

  90. Lilly says – reply to this

And please…out of all the colleges she's been to, not ONE person has ever brought up an intern sucking on daddy's lollipop? I find that hard to believe being apart of a college campus and hearing outspoken students all the time.

Not her fault that her husband is a old green horny jerk. But I agree she cant run this country. Clintons have proven already that they do not good inot the white house… beside hillary just wnat to fuck some hot intern in the oval office to get even.

It was a tiny bit bitchy the way she delivered it, but she's right… and that is such old news, it happened, it's done… are people so prudish that they can't move on from "the Monica Lewinsky scandal"?

Another Clinton shows their true colors! The question I would ask is why is her Mother remaining in the race when mathimatically she will not have the delegates neccessary and in the mean time she is destroying the Democratic Party? And the answer is, she has her sights on the 2012 election and knows that will not happen if Obama is to be the next president. Thanks Hillary, it's always gonna be about you huh.

It wasn't really a personal question IMO, it was about her mother's credibility in her opinion. She should of answered positively saying that NO it hasn't hurt her mother's credibility and just shows that her mother is a strong woman who supports her family and is willing to work through ANY challenge whether it be a personal family issue or a public one. She COULD have answered that question…….

you guys are morons. so her her husband cheated on her and that means shes not strong enough or shouldn't be president? wow. if anything that scandal ruined bill's credibility as a leader, not hillary who was the victim. geez. im a student at indiana university and had to chance to see chelsea speak on campus monday. she answered every single question in great detail. she was well informed on each stance her mother had and answered every question that was asked of her. if someone asked me about my parents personal life, i would have responded the same way. GO HIL
