DGeneres won 46% of the vote. And Winfrey???

So glad to hear this! Have always loved Ellen!!!….I think Oprah gives off the snob vibe, she knows she has the power to sell, maybe not much longer. Ellen seems so real, down to earth someone you wanna hang out with.

Wow! Didn't know Ellen has sooo many crazy fans! I do not like the show (I've watched it three times) and find it namby-pamby. I used to like Ellen when she WAS young and a stand-up comedian. As a young woman, I don't think that my generation is really feeling Oprah anymore. She's out-of-date and too gawdy. I discussed this with a friend of mine recently, and she said that she's turned off by the huge jewelry that Oprah wears, just showing off her wealth. Sure, she helps people, and that's totally commendable. But Ellen is just more down-to-earth and fresh. We love Ellen. I live in Flagstaff, and let me tell you, it was HUGE when she came to town last fall!
Ellen is so much more entertaining to watch than Oprah! Her shows so been there and back, boring!

Well, of course Ellen is the better daytime host. She's very funny and she dances all over the set. She does more important topics instead of the old crap. I stopped watching Oprah and any show associated with her months ago. Oprah is just too full of herself these days. Yeah she does a lot of good for charities, but she demands recognition and a pat ont he back for everything she does which takes away from the good deed.
It's a sign of the times. Ellen is a perceived as a REAL person, and Oprah has long ago sold out, and it's showing…she is now a peddler of books and big money now. The machine has totally consumed her at this point, and the public gets that fact. It is to the point where we KNOW she's about big money and we're no longer trusting her. Spent Christmas in Canada, had tv on to catch up on my favorite shows. Love Ellen and never watched a single Oprah.
