Seriously, I don't care who Johnny marries or has sex with or whatever but I am honestly honestly COMPLETELY baffled as to how he can be with such a pathetic woman.
I always thought that Johnny would be with someone who is at least intelligent, talented etc. Someone like him, but this woman is honestly one of the worst "singers" and dancers and everything I have ever seen.
Of course it could just be the music, maybe she is a nice person but the songs are completely shallow and those kind of songs, and the type of performer she is , is everything Johnny CLAIMS to be against!!!!!
I do not respect him anymore since I found out that's who he is with, as he's obviously a phony.
She looks like a skeleton with big teeth. Eat something!
I would take her a bit more serious if she would fix those picket fence teeth. The David Letterman look does NOT become this woman! I'm sorry, but she's really pretty with her mouth closed. You'd think the $$ that the two of them have, she would have fixed them by now, that lucky teeth crap isn't getting it with me either. Fugly teeth are fugly teeth no matter where you are in the world, it just say durrrrr! As for being obsessed with perfection, there's no such thing as perfection, however, getting reasonable dental care, there's no excuse. It's just plain flat out unattractive! Cripes she could suck a watermelon seedless through those things!!
Thought she was pretty good…different. About the gap in her front teeth….obviously, she chooses not to fix it. Not sure most remember, but Lauren Hutton (?) loved her gap, she made it her trademark. She never yielded to pressure to have it fixed and she graced the covers of many magazines in her modeling career.
I cannot get over the ridiculous and shallow comments about her teeth. Grow up. She is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. It's so lovely to see that someone famous doesn't need to look like the cookie cutter girls of L.A.

Ugly on the inside, and I kinda thought I could see what johnny saw in her before I met her. I could of cared less about her gap, whatever. Well, she isn't graceful (so the dancing was tragic) but there is something so striking about her. I couldn't take me eyes off her one second!
And yeah… I do believe Johnny directed it. There's a flirtation between her and the camera. But it's not really the camera or the audience she's flirting with. Especially at 1:20 where she gives a fleeting come-hither look, I felt like a voyeur, like I wasn't supposed to see that!

I am American and I really liked this video. I think Vanessa is very beautiful and I like the way that she can flip back and forth between being very sweet and having a sort of hard edge. I like her teeth.
But the French must understand how advertizing works in the United States to understand why people are so freaked out about something tiny like a gap between a beautiful woman's teeth. In Paris most of the commercials are for Yougurt, cheese, that Sader adhesive, and eye-glasses …and you get commercials once every hour or so. In the US we get commercials every 10 minutes and they all tel us that we are ugly, smelly, fat and going to die..or else they are for fast food. By the time people here are old enough to visit sites like this they are totally convinced that they are unloveable unless they are perfect.
Thus, Americans who have not gone on to receive some type of higher education that teaches them to think critically about such things react badly when they see a free-thinking self-assured Frech woman who seems to defy everything they have been brain-washed to believe.
This is how Capitalism keeps us busy, judgmental, mean, spiteful, ignorant, and most importantly, incapable of coming together to rise up and take out our warmongering criminal of a President. It is sad. I loved living in France.

I think the French are totally hypocritical. They have a need to be thin (eat yougurt and salads to stay thin and criticize people who are fat). They wear designer glasses, clothes, etc (hence, superficial), but rent their appartments because they have no money. The French are as superficial as Americans, they just don't think that they are… God forbid! They are rude, as some some Americans. I also have lived and worked in France (Paris by the way is a world apart from the rest of France: 'Paris et le desert…'). I have also lived and worked in the US and ultimately you just can't say one country is like the other. Yes French people like to look good, but so do most inhabitants of any developed country that has a bit of money to spend. Yes, French women are obsessed with being thin….as is the USA, but the country doesn't have problems of mass obesity like North America. I wish you could put your American arrogance away while living in another country, and maybe find some positive things to say about your host country rather than focussing on negatives. So many Americans will never get the chance to have the opportunity you have - so appreciate it.

I see nothing wrong with the gap, and I have to admire the fact that she keeps it regardless of what others say/think, but I think the fact that the emaciated look that she has now is not exactly attractive. Quite frankly, I think she was better looking when she was younger, because she wasn't so skeletal then.
As far as the song goes, it's not bad, but I don't think she's a particularly good singer. She has this high-pitched squeaky/screechy voice that really gets on my nerves quick - I muted the video pretty quickly. Her dancing wasn't all that great either, and at times it seemed stiff and awkward and even a bit forced - not attractive as far as my tastes go.
The video in general was neat, and I liked it. I'm a sucker for vintage-style videos, especially those that look like they came from the 20's, and that was probably the only big two thumbs up as far as the whole thing goes.
As far as the Johnny Depp "cameo", I wasn't sure at first. I had a couple of Where's Waldo moments trying to search for him before the light bulb went off (sad, I know).
I'll agree that he's quite a morsel, and a great actor to boot, and I'm not entirely surprised that he ended up with someone like this. I will say that I do get the feeling that she might be the super-snotty type. Women like her are not generally nice, nor humble, that's pretty much a given.

I hear all of you about the gap. It distracted me a lot when I'd seen other things with her in them, but this video made me think, "It's not so bad". It's just different and takes some getting used to. And she doesn't need braces. Her teeth are fine - just different from what is normally perceived as pretty. The space adds character and brings her down to a "regular person" level. She is gorgeous and I like the song and LOVE the video.
