It seems that the violence against 'outsiders' is spreading.
Yesterday we mentioned how emo kids in Mexico City were being attacked, as well as in Chile. Now, reports are surfacing of a recent attack just across the border in Juarez, Mexico.
Why's it so hard to love one another???? Or at least be indifferent!
A confrontation in an upscale mall took place Wednesday night between a group of "emo" kids and a group of "punk" kids.
Police are saying the incident could have started with an exchange of words. Even worse, they fear it could have been a copycat attack of the highly publicized attacks on emos in Querataro, Mexico.
Officials released a statement saying that the police anti-gang unit would increase patrols at popular teen hangouts in order to discourage any fights.
Why do people still find the need to attack others? Can't everyone just get along?

this is the same as any other type of discrimination—this is the same as attacking people for their ethnicity or race….it's terrible, and these people should be ashamed at themselves for doing this…..it's a music genre and clothing style just like any other! and most 'emo' people don't self-harm, they just enjoy music that is qualified as 'emo.'
