everyone knows eurovision is a joke - well maybe not the swedes - they take it very seriously - think they just love the cheesey type of pop, carola sucks! - urrgghh.
countries tend to just vote for the countries near them (so that they can get the contest near them the next year), and never for which song is actually decent.
Has BECOME a joke? Sweetheart, you're about 20 years behind the times there…

Dustin is a legend…for those that dont know his character is based around a dublin builder (the dodgy type) imagine a lad in denim that burps and farts unashamedly and everytime he bends over you'd see the crack of his arse…he takes the piss out of politicians and anybody….kids love him cos he's kinda rude and funny adults love him for his digs everynow and then. he is a national treasure and for those that are ashamed, he is a talent how long is he on the scene and still people of all ages love him….gone are the days of him and gaybo slagging on the late late show…as i said pure legend!!!! Love ya Perez by the way!
lol the eurovision is meant to be a joke and always has been - although we, thanks to Terry Wogan who just takes the piss, are one of the countries who don't take it seriously, the eurovision is soooo much fun! for Britain where people are very generally ulra sceptic and reserved and 'indie'lol it means that for one nite a year we can just join in with our european friends in a eurotrash fest!!

That is the whole point. We are sick of the voting system in the eurovision and so we are sending a turkey to show how crap the show has gone. I am Irish and I love it. I think it is so funny and I bet it will be the most watched entry.

I'm from Ireland and I have to admit I'm all for Dustin, I mean come on, it shows that the Eurovision is becoming a joke and only certain countries will ever win, so why not go all out and take it as its meant to be……….a laugh!!! Anyway Dustin has sang with Bob Geldof, Ronnie Drew, The Saw Doctors, Chris de Burgh and featured on loads of other songs………if he's good enough for them I don't see what all the fuss is about!!!!

dustin is the best thing to happen to ireland since sliced bread, from them we have podge- then followed rodge and not forgetting socky, the sock monster. Just explaining it you must thing were off our tits the whole time. We irish children were easily amused and god damn it the first day dustin did the "Flap Flaps" i nearly wet myself, good times.

I'm from Europe (Germany) and I saw this stupid turkey in the newspaper. It' so
embarrassing for the show. I guess it's the most famous show in Europe and in the last years the show became a fake! All the countries in the east vote for each other so the countries in the west, that take this competition serious, don't have any chance to win this. I hope Germany wins (not because I live there) I just think the band which represents Germany is very very good and talented!

Hi Perez, My name is Caroline and I am Irish. The turkeys name is Dustin and he started out on a kids show in Ireland, he is a sort of comedian and is well know and loved by the Irish people. I dont think Ireland wants to win the Eurovision as we have won it many times before and Dustin the turkey is doing this as a joke. Believe it or not it he has done songs before but for charity.
Many of us grew up with dustin on RTE. The eurovision has, and always will be a joke, and this is Ireland's only chance at regaining it's former record glory of 7 WINS! Who can match that?
