The film is on track to take in just a little over $4 million Friday through Sunday.
That must hurt!
The movie 21, on the other hand, did big business. That film, starring Kate Bosworth and Kevin Spacey, is expected to take in a surprising $22+ million.

the reason no one saw this movie is because they dont want to subject themselves to reality…Most people dont wanna believe they live in a world like that..they would much rather live in "The Hills". Its a very sad time in our country right now, people should really realize what is happening in our world right infront of us.

Ah, that movie looks good. The television commercial doesn't look great. However, the trailer that you see during the previews before a movie starts at the movie theaters looks great. I still definietly want to see it. To bad I'm sick this weekend. I will eventually see it go. BTW, I do think Ryan Philippe is a good actor.

I saw stop-loss yesterday and could not stop crying. I know it isn't expected to do well but maybe a lot of people are afraid to see this because it's too close to home. I haven't known many ppl that have been sent to Iraq so this movie was a real eye opener to the personal struggle these men and their family/friends go through to fight for our country. Great movie, maybe not always the best acting but great concept nonetheless.
Yeah and he let not only her but all her money go out of his life so easily. He should at least have gotten half of all she's got. I mean he was her emotional support when she earned it, right? Poor guy; his kids won't even want to bother with him. Kids know which parent has the dough, right, and he isn't the doughboy.

I doubt it had anything to do with Ryan. I think it has more to do with the fact that there are families living these issues. No one wants to watch a movie about the awful reality that they are living.

As the fact that they had problems in their marriage was well known. People screw up and handle things poorly but that by no means makes them a bad person. I just saw this movie and cried my eyes out…not only did it hit close to home, but it was a very good movie! I would recommend it to anyone! Well except maybe those who have lost someone in Iraq! I really hope it gets the recognition that it deserves! Plus having some really sexy men in it didn't hurt!

Maybe it bombed because Hollywood does not know how to make a good movie anymore. To the people who cried when they saw this movie—Give me a break. Do you really believe that hollywood was unbiased when this movie was made? Do you people believe everything the media shovels down your throuat? I was in the military and still have lots of friends and a few family that are still in and some of them were affected by stoploss. Why doesn't hollywood make a movie that supports our military and all the good that they are doing? What about a movie about the children that soldiers have been able to get to America for operations? The little girl who got her sight back? Do you know these stories even exist??? Hollywood is so blatantly AntiAmerica it isn't funny. Stop being SHEEP!!

Loved stop-loss…can't wait to see 21, it was a toss up between which I was going to see but in the end it was up to my husband (an army man himself). Ryan is gorgeous, so is Channing. This movie hits too close to home for too many thats why they didn't see it. I cried quite a lot but I recommend it to any TRUE AMERICAN! It is a great movie, but it's a war movie and no one wants to talk about or remember this disaster of a war we are stuck in.
Most of the war movies that have come out in the last couple of years has not done well in the boxoffice. Like the 9/11 movies, this war is too close to us right now to watch on screen.

i went and saw that this weekend and it was a good movie!!! but yeah there was not that many people in the movie threatre when we saw it at night. I must say i saw a mistake in the movie…they keep saying army but they showed a marine flag at one point. i was like WOW how did that get pass on the editting room.
