Ryan Phillipe's new movie, Stop-Loss, bombed at the box office in America this weekend.
Disastrously!
The film is on track to take in just a little over $4 million Friday through Sunday.
That must hurt!
The movie 21, on the other hand, did big business. That film, starring Kate Bosworth and Kevin Spacey, is expected to take in a surprising $22+ million.

I really liked this movie. kinda sad that this is what is happening to real people. Im not even from the US and I want it to stop.

21 was in 2648 theaters over the weekend, coming in at number 1; Stop-Loss was in 1291 theaters and came in at number 8. Its per-screen average take exceeded that of the number 2 movie, Horton Hears a Who. Lighten up on Ryan Phillippe, Perez. Watch the Jay Leno "give us a gay expression video": Ryan refuses and even threatens to leave if Leno keeps it up. Also watch the Ellen video: Ryan talks about how moved and pleased he was that his work on One Life to Live helped young gays. He's a friend, Perez. Treat him like one.
No! I loved that movie, it made me cry so hard, and he was great in it!! And yeah, he's reallyy hott.
um wtf! stop loss was so good and ryan is so much hotter then reese!!
Way forget Jim Sturgess, who did an amazing job in 21. I'd rather read about him than some shitty MTV Iraq war film.
I saw this movie and it was pretty good. It didn't hurt that it had the hotties in it.
Oh well. Ryan is still hot and he's still getting paid! Booyah!
my gay boyfriend made me see this stupid movie on friday night. it sucked almost as much as the one he made me see last week, never back down. but i gotta say, the mens in both those flicks is hot, and if you need a reason to ef yourself (or be angry at the country and bad movie making) watch it.
yeah, this movie was a ridiculous idea. hello, don't make a movie about a man crying about being the army, you joined it's your problem.
Uhh, it didn't bomb because of lack of celebrity power, it tanked because no one wants to see this story. Lots of democrats out there think that because they dominate the media they can influence stoopid kids to think this war is a crime against humanity. All we will get is another Vietnam for our soldiers. Nice work dems.
wow. this truly is what america has come to. lets not deal with the realities of war but rather watch stories about vegas. hell yeah…..GAG ME. i saw stop loss today and it was incredible. its terribly sad but get on board america the war on iraq has no happy ending. i fully recommend putting you $9 towards this film. just my two cents. ;]

Let me sum the movie up for everyone. It is an anti-American anti-war movie. Great movie for a bunch of brainwashed liberals!
