Retracting Their Story

Further hurting their already shoddy credibility, Star magazine erroneously reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got married this past weekend in New Orleans.
Never happened. They weren't even there!
Now, shoving their baby cock between their legs, Star is retracting their story and making up new lies along the way, like claiming that Brange DID have plans to marry in New Orleans this weekend.
The magazine just posted the following statement on their website.
Says Star:
"Sources in a position to have information regarding a secret wedding ceremony between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had confirmed to Star that the couple married in the French Quarter Wedding Chapel on Saturday, March 29. "There were two weddings, one planned and one unplanned," one source told Star. "Brad and Angelina's was the planned ceremony. The weather wasn't good, so we were indoors."
After further investigation, the sources are not standing by their story. Brad and Angelina's reps have not commented."

The French Quarter Wedding Chapel mentioned by the Star is a cheap, tacky little place. I doubt very much that this couple would hold their wedding there when they'd have so many other venues to choose from. Another indication of shoddy reporting, in my opinion.

I'm surprised Star even did a followup. Don't most tabloids move on to the next rumour almost immediately, forgetting last week's rumour and that it turned out to be false? They churn out so much gossip on a weekly basis, I assumed it was so that their fans would forget last week's erroneous gossip because of the even juicier gossip this week.
