No actually, I went to the Cleveland show and it was super fun! But yeah..it totally was NOT sold out..but like, she did an amazing job! We had a blast..but on the other hand..we were a little tanked from all the overpriced beer

I have been to Justin Timberlake concerts that look similar- they can't sell tickets behind the stage because thats where all the equipment is set up. Plus, you can't even see her on the opposite side of the HSBC.

Re: Ryan – - Ummm…the floor was PACKED at the Jonas Brothers concert I went a few weeks ago. And they released obstructed seats at the wings of the stage because demand was so high. That was deafening madness. Really good, though!
I guess that's why I'm getting forced to hear Avril share the bill at one of the Jonas Brothers' PA shows I just bought for, this summer, since they can now sell out a big venue (they sold out Madison Square Garden TWICE in the course of Saturday afternoon). I went to the Avril concert in Minneapolis and it was actually really good. I don't know why no one wants to go to her concerts lately, but it makes a much more enjoyable concert experience with less people there!!

Look, I dont like Avril either… but I was also at this concert (shush, I got free tickets) and I was in a suite directly across the rink from where this pic was taken… and I got there for the end of Boys Like Girls (the opening act) and it was much more full than this… the floor was a little sparse, but the area behind the stage was not sold because you cannot see the stage from there… but the other seats were full.
That is sad…but this isn't the first concert on the tour.. they should have changed the venue.

My family and I were at the Buffalo, NY show Sat. night. The show was great, Avril's voice sounded fantastic. After the show we went behind the venue just to see if she would come out. Sure enough even though it was freezing outside she came out and signed autographs and was very friendly and appreciative. On tv when you see a clip of a famous person it's easy to quickly judge them. Keep in mind that it's one second of a lifetime caught on tape. Avril really seemed humble and happy to meet her fans. We had a great time. The show didn't sell out by a long shot but keep in mind Buffalo is a struggling town. Factories close and jobs have been shipped out so the area so finances can't support concert ticket prices. Buffalo is a struggling town. I don't think the empty seats were a reflection of Avril's lack of fans in Buffalo. The money is just not there.
FYI - My family and I met Avril on Saturday night. Avril said she is not pregnant as it's been reported. I have to say she is a small woman and her stomach is totally flat so if she is preggers..than even her body doesn't know it yet.

No one is sitting in the seats behind the stage because the seats are rarely open when they are behind the stage. This is common at most concerts. Infact that last 2 Dave Matthews band concerts I went to were just like that in Detroit. Keep in mind all his show sin detroit sell out.
