Singer/songwriter Adam Green (of the now defunct Moldy Peaches) was a guest this past weekend on TV Total, one of the biggest TV shows in Germany.
Unfortunately for him and fortunately for us, he got so pissed drunk before the show and gave quite a memorable appearance.
The uncomfortableness of the host and the audience, especially when Green keeps joking about fighting in the Iraq war, is priceless!

Adam Green has just gotten himself a new fan after I watched this interview. All of the angry people who lack a sense of humor need to loosen the fuck up. I'm glad that not all "celebrities" are obsessed with their "golden" image and that some still choose to act more natural, on impulse without the same robotic, fake gestures and rehearsed lines. I'm so sick of the same boring, chewed up vocabulary and annoying, overplayed expressions that seeing a drunk musician acting silly is actually refreshing.

Well I am from Germany and besides the fact that Stefan Raab, the host, is a lame idiot who cannot speak English, there is NO ONE uncomfortable about the joking about Iraq… Don't know where you see that.
AND: interviews at this show are often like that in Germany, I don't see where it is so special or "priceless"…

First, TV Total doesn´t air on weekends. It´s on from mondays to thursdays. but way more important: it is NOT one of the biggest shows in germany. it was pretty big once but really lost it´s quality

This Stefan Raab Show on a German private TV channel is meant for the lower-educated classes of viewers (every now and then the makers of the show get successfully sued in court by (normal, not celebrity) people they insulted a bit too much , so it s not that damaging to Adam Green s image in Germany, I guess….

Germany s largest TV show, I guess, still is "Wetten dass…" with host Thomas Gottschalk (who actually has been living in the U.S./L.A. for a few decades now!). His show has about 10 million viewers, Paris Hilton was on it last week, Robbie Williams, Madonna, and a lot of U.S. A-list celebrities, actors, singers, etc were in that show.
Stefan Raab caters more for the "newer" celebs and a "younger" lower-educated audience. So Adam Green was perfectly right for his show!
I CANNOT understand why Germans think Stefan Raab is funny. He is so popular over there, all i see is a guy who thinks he is funny.

I feel like I have to correct a few things of the "newsreport".
1. TV Total doesn't run at weekends, it runs from monday till thursday
2. I wouldn't go so far to say that it's one of the biggest shows in german TV. Of this particular format, perhaps.
3. The person who makes Steffan Raab uncunfortable has to be born yet. Do you know what this man has done during his carrer. Google him.
