In Memoriam
Filed under: LatinoliciousThe beautiful and talented Selena's life was cut tragically short thirteen years ago today at the too tender age of 23.
She had so much life ahead of her!
Thankfully, her music lives on. And THIS is one of our favorite Selena songs.

I missed selena so much I loved her she was and is still my role model. WE LOV3 YOU SELENA!!
I think Selena is important for Mexico, not for all latinos, because if you ask a South American, A Brazilian, Chilean, Argentinean if they know Selena, they will say no. Her music is horrible, come on, it's for Mexicans, her style of hair and clothes, it's very Mexican. Just like somebody else said, she was nobody until she died. It's sad the way she died, very sad, so young, but she belonged to that Mexican Texan world, because you can only find MExicans in Texas. Go to El Paso and look for a French, German cuisine. It's all about MExican food and that sucks. I think Selena and all Mexicans artists are cheesy. That's my opinion. J-LO didn't steal her life at all, and J-LO is better looking than Selena was. That's bullshit saying that J-Lo stole the life of a dead person. She didn't.
