His approval rating says it all. This has nothing to do with "left" and "right" - as you americans always seem to boil things down to (something always has to be right or wrong with no grey areas). This is about the fact that your president has done a very poor job and he is getting boo'd for it.
People have to earn my respect.
No one, not even my parents will ever just have inherent respect, they earnt it, and they can lose it.
Also to have a democracy all opinions must be heard, people who think bush is doing a great job - i don't agree with you - but for a democracy to work you are free to express that opinion and have that opinion heard.

See..it should be the opposite. My parents, will probably ALWAYS have less respect from me, than the "office". I love them & they are closer to me than anyone or anything. But my parents, as well as their/MY ancesters would CEASE to exist in the comfy way that they/I have, if it weren't for our forefathers & the amazing presidents we've had helping to CREATE & enforce our rights & liberties. We, as a PEOPLE should respect every single thing about that. And never disrespect the president or the office. Even GWB! What you people say in your own homes is one thing……but let's show some class & respect to the leader of our great nation…especially in a public place. Let's create a UNITED front. This is a wonderful place to live. These ungrateful people may want to learn how to show some gratitude, in spite of their utter hatred for the man, their very own president. United we stand.
