They're Back - Officially!

Late January we reported that NKOTB were considering a reunion.
Now reports have been confirmed that news. How anti-climactic!
New Kids On The Block, the original N'Sync all-boy band, will be performing together for the first time in years on April 4th, on the Today show. Yeah, that's THIS Friday.
NKTOB, consisting of Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood, and Donnie Wahlberg are back together. But will this be as successful as the Spice Girls reunion???
Coincidentally, 2008 marks the groups 20th anniversary since the release of their big hit, Hangin' Tough.
A reunion tour seems like it might be in the works.
But the question is, does anyone still care?

I am soooooooooooo excited about this. It's the only reunion I was hoping for, and I am so happy I am not the only one that feels this way, I've seen Jordan 5 times solo and Joe 2 times and the were both fab, but nothing like seeing all 5 together again!

I'm so super excited! Really hope they go on tour and come here to Florida. Brings back so many great childhood memories! My walls were covered with NKOTB posters. I still have the stage and all the dolls of them. I'd love to take my 13 year old to the concert and let here see what ole mom was into at her age.
I love new kids on the block. It was my first cocncert…when I was in 2nd grade. Ha! I saw Donnie Wahlberg about 3 weeks ago @Thrive in Atlanta, and he is definately not "tour ready." It will be interesting to see how everything plays out.

How did they run out of money when they were still working genius! For example Donnie Wahlberg…Band of Brothers, the Sixth Sense. Ever heard of those? Joe did Broadway…a little play called Wicked. You might be familiar with it. Joe, Danny and Jordan have solo albums. And Jon worked in real estate. Nope…not broke!

Yay I care!!! Us fans have been waiting for this for so so long and now our time has come! NKOTB will come back stronger than ever if their music clips on www.nkotb.com are anything to go by. Of course not everyone is going to want to see them back. Hell, that would be freaky if the whole world liked the same band - when has that ever happened?! But the important point is that their fans are loyal, reading and waiting to buy cd's, go to concerts and support the guys 100%. Good luck Donnie, Danny, Joe, Jon and Jordan. This kills me. I think that 50% of that 59% that would not go see them is not being honest. Who wouldn't see them even for a moment of nostalgia? I never got to see them the first time around, but man they were such a huge part of the culture of being a girl of our generation, not to mention the trends that they set in the music industry. Kudos for them getting it back together!!

YES! i saw them in 1991. i have one of their dirty sweaty (used to be) towels from their concert in Shreveport, Louisiana and an empty can of their stiff stuff hair spray!!!! My boyfriend at the time worked security for the concerte!

The Knight brothers were horrible to one of my friends and trust me people I have the proof. Jon and Jordan both think fans are pathetic and losers and the only reason they play nice is because they want the money other than that when all the little die hards turn around they turn the knife in there backs. to this day i am still a huge fan. you can say ive always been stuck in the 80s and 90s music wise. still love all those boy bands.
im not going to lie, i have multipl nkotb shirts that i still wear and i still have the bed sheets, blankets and posters with their faces on it. i still have collectibles from when they were popular including all their cds and dolls. i also know all the trademark dances from all their videos..aha.
im excited they are getting back together its like a dream come true.
maybe not as successful as the spice girls come back, but its still amazing.
