Re: River –
I reply cause you're an idiot and I'm aggresive because that's the only way a moron like you can understand anything. If you were able to comprehend written language you would see that my argument for her retiring is for numerous reason, 1) her music sucks, 2) she is a terrible person and 3) she is selling herself like a new model whose privates haven't been seen by everyone with a computer over a thousand times. Do you really think it's ok for her to be parading herself around like a stripper at the ripe old age of 50? (Sigh) I guess you can't fix stupid. Get bent River you fucking cunt!
STEVEN MEISEL is one of the best photographers that did not have to rely on Photoshop to be considered good. Herb Ritts, Peter Lindberg, Scavullo, Patrick Demarchelier and Helmut Newton are also that great! They have all worked witht the Queen!
nah.. i doubt it. in this pic you have displayed, i think the poles, her pose angles, and the outfit help to give her that ultra svelte figure. lighting, too plays a part.. see how the shadow hits her form? helps create those contours.. if anything, her face might look heavily photoshoped/makeup'd.. its too striking and statue like.
Re: Mags –
the smudging is not necessarily because of photoshop. i think the mags would be way tooo sophisticated for those mistakes by now. it may be how the image converted onto the web seeing as the dpi would definitely lessen.
actually, they might be technically telling the truth, since working with lights and angles and makeup - can do wonders….when they say retouching the term usually applies in our world of production as what people more commonly know as "photoshopping" meaning after the fact, so heck they could of used tons of makeup and lit up her face so her wrinkles go bye bye. Minimal is also left to the artist's discretion lol.
