I'm from Australia and saw the boys when they came to my city. They were great — everyone there had so much fun!
What an ignorant post Perez…you fail to mention that they have been performing overseas on their worldwide tour since January in Australia, Mexico, Asia and Europe. So don't make fun because one of their hundreds of stops will be at a state fair. Why don't you at least give people the entire picture instead of act like they've got Avril's problems.. If things were that bad, how could they sell out shows??? It's posts like these that make me realize what an ass you are.

Perez honey even though I love you, I have to strongly disagree. The BSB are an amazing group, and even though they're not as huge as 10 years ago, they've stayed strong and true to themselves. Just because they're playing at a State Fair doesn't mean they're crap. On the contrary! Just a few weeks ago in their concert in Mexico City and I am sooo happy to say that not only did it rock but it was packed!!! Tickets flew in Monterrey, Puebla and Mexico City. I've also been hearing the same from the rest of their concert in their world tour. In case you don't believe me I'll be glad to send you come pics of the concert. Anyway…I know you have every right to judge people and their talents as you see fit…but hey I love the BSB.

Seriously, the MN state fair is one of the biggest in the country. It seats 17K. That's not sad, and it's actually pretty smart financially. As for the Apprentice, you guys are all pretty dumb if you think that wasn't stage and they weren't told to make things difficult. I have that on good authority, but you should have been able to figure it out for yourselves.

The fair is one of the largest in the country and it's not a "Rinky dink" country fair. The artists that play at the state fair are usually very popular because the venue is huge. Christina Aguilera, Goo Goo Dolls, Rascall Flatts have all played there, and many many more. Plus it's outdoor so the tickets are usually cheaper than it would be at a stadium.
Everyone needs to shush.. the fair tickets are of course going to sell out. Thats a given. On top of that, its a state fair, whoever heard of charging much more for tickets? Its a state fair, not a stadium concert. Its a totally different experience. If you were paying attention, the boys have been doing small shows from through their ENTIRE music career, even at their peek back in '00. Bow out, why? They're still the shit!
You know what is funny. I was at Jingle Ball in NYC, and I watched Perez fucking rock out to The Boys. He was sitting in the VIP Lounge and standing at the edge and he was singing along and dancing! I love Perez but don't fake the funk! I still love them and it seemed that night he did too!

But it ain't money as to the reason they're still performing. They love performing music. They love their fans. And, thanks to their massive album and concert sales from the Millennium and B&B days, they are anything but broke. So try again.

With that said, BSB is a world-acclaimed act who still has legions of fans worldwide. I'd love to see you survive at the pop business for get this… FIFTEEN YEARS!! (yes, they celebrate the big 1-5 as a group, this month, actually)
And I don't mind state fairs. Or the price. For those of us who are in college and went to their expensive show/s back in the Black & Blue tour back in '01 (where tickets were an ugly $124 a pop for 14th row- still was a kickass show though–), our wallets will breathe a sigh of relief. With each BSB show, we get what we come for– great singing. That's what matters to me.
I used to like BSB before they went all "adult contemporary"… they could never live up to NKOTB.

did you see them on the finale of the celeb apprentice? they were playing at a charity auction which was part of the final challenge & they placed all these lame demands on poor trace atkins (sp). i get that celebs have certain things they like but this is for charity. their "people' should have got all the extras they wanted wheatgrass juice, a knee brace, vitamin water & black nail polish. then again with their level of fame now maybe their "people" couldn't afford to go out & get their shit. i don't know if it was a joke but they looked really bad.
