I've always been a hardcore fan of BSB since the 90's. I went to like 10 concerts - I'm not ashamed to admit it. But their last album SUCKED. I HATED it. They need Kevin back and need to stick to the music they're good at not this new crap they think is good. Stick to what you do best boys!

Ok, Perez, first of all, maybe you should use spellcheck before you try to crap on someone! It's spelled MINNESOTA. Trust me, i have lived here all my life, we have never changed the spelling. Second of all, have you been to the MINNESOTA state fair (if Minnesota is too tough for you to spell, the just do this, MN.)? Our grandstand here is HUGE. Every year a big act has played here. Big crowds come into the fairs gates every year! It's not an insult at all that they are playing here. Come to MINNESOTA sometime. Then maybe you can learn the proper spelling, and see that our state isn't so bad. I'd invite you to stay at my place, but we require someone who can spell our state properly before they can walk through our door!
The MN State Fair gets over 100,000 people visting a day. It's Huge! There are some pretty big acts that play in the Grandstand. Don't knock it. Check it out and have some Alligator on a Stick.
I think that I'm more pissed that you're knocking on the Minnesota State Fair than the Backstreet Boys. Why don"t you tell Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, Fergie, Motley Crue and other huge acts that have played there how poor it is. This is a HUGE outdoor concert venue and one that is sought after. For BSB to have one of the Saturday night spots in the Grandstand…that is huge. This isn't some podunk affair.
I don't think they need to "bow out." If there are people that are willing to see them and if they are still making people happy (as I am), I don't see why they should quit. For some people, it's not always about the money…it's about the fans and about music….and I'm happy and I would go see them at a state fair any day!

Ummm this seems weird, because being a Backstreet Boys Fan this show isn't on their website or tour list so if it is a show I don't think that they care that it's not a very big one–they're in the process of doing a world tour right now. In addition if they are only $30 I'd be psyched and go to as many shows as possible.

I still love the Backstreet Boys and, Perez, they are currently on a world tour and tickets are a LOT more expensive than just $30 AND their tickets happen to sell out really fast. They have amazing voices and I can't wait until they are finally not overseas and are playing shows here again

Firstly, I don't know how this is classified as "Celebrity Gossip" which Perez claims to provide, however here are my thoughts:
I have always been and always will be a Backstreet Boys fan. There is nothing wrong with their music and who they are. They are not selling records or shows to make money and try to ascertain the fame achieved in the 1990s. They are merely pursuing what it is they love. How can you fault and tease anyone for that? I am so sick and tired of everyone’s opinion of the “boy band craze” in the 1990s. Why can’t people recognize that time in music history as being the most profitable and influential in decades?
I just don’t understand the animosity and anger toward boy bands of the past and present. Since many of you superficially label boy bands as that of a group of men singing together in harmony, please keep in mind that you would indeed be bashing the Beatles as well.
Just let them be. We aren’t asking you to see their concerts, so why get your rocks off by belittling them and bringing them down?

The Minnesota state fair seriously rocks. Alot of big names play the grandstand, i believe it seats about 17,000 people. It's not some lame ass county fair. Don't you research before you post? Anyways, my understanding is, BSB are touring currently overseas, and are selling out venues. So, i don't see why they would need to bow out when they have millions of fans all over the world still. They are much more talented then Nsync was. Their music is still good. It's an honor for them to be playing my state fair.

It shouldnt matter where they are playing, There have been many artists that have taken the time to do a concert at a state fair, there is nothing wrong with it, so what if their tickets are less than $30. Also, it shouldnt matter to "non- fans" that the backstreet boys havent "bowed" out yet. They still have fans out there who are buying their music, (Yes I include myself in this, I have been a fan of them for 12 year) and attending their concerts!
