Actually, Thomas having a baby is the most normal thing she has done. WOMEN ARE SUPPOSE TO HAVE BABIES. All the other "Holloween man costume" she wears IS the abnormal thing not the pregnancy.

It really isn't that shocking, as "he" is still a woman possessing female reproductive anatomy. What is shocking is how it has been visually portrayed to get a *gasp!* response from the public. I would expect that from low-life media outlets, but watching the show, it was actually disgusting to see Oprah whoring herself (and her guests) out in the same fashion. Oprah is so annoying sometimes for being so "evolved." I wish the couple all the best–they seem humble and sweet.

I have to admit when I first heard this story it seemed selfish of this man to bring a baby into this world. Now that I have seen him, his wife, and their children discuss their lives, I feel horrible to think what I did. This family is loving, caring and have done what is right for them They seem to be taking every precaution necessary to make this a healthy pregnancy and eventually a happy normal life for their child. They deserve every right to have this child and who are we to say otherwise? I for one am carrying this couple in my heart and thoughts for a safe delivery and a happy normal life.

Okay, I am having a hard time understanding all the hype. Every website has an article about a man having a baby, but that is not the case. This individual may feel like a man in a womans body but biologically he is still a woman so what is the big deal about a biological woman having a baby, we do it everyday. I would have liked to have gone on Oprah when I was pregnant! Now if he was both man and woman, like he had a uterus and was born with a dick and impregnated himself that would be a story!
I was so moved by his stomache it actually took my mind and eyes off of Oprahs ass.

Also, how is it selfish to bring a baby into the world? Man/Man, Man/Woman, or Woman/Woman, how is it selfish to bring a baby into the world? This human is CAPABLE of bringing a baby into the world, so why not? Is it not selfish to -not- have a baby because you don't want the pain of labour?

This is not the first man ever to have a baby. But a woman who has altered her looks to look like a man and is now having a baby.
Gender is not about organs, it's about the mind, the heart and the soul. I'm sure Thomas will be a wonderful father and Nancy a wonderful mother. Love does make a family.

I prefer to be a cat. I'm not quite comfortable in the species I was born. I am going to have some surgery to look like a cat and ask people to call me a cat.
