The baby's almost 100% official!
According to new reports, Malawi's government has recommended that its High Court formally approve Madonna's adoption of little David Banda.
Also, Madonna's lawyers have asked the courts to delay her Madgesty's appearance in court for the adoption hearing from next week to the end of April, because she has another engagement in the United States.
"They have made that application at (the) High Court today, and the judge is expected to respond this afternoon," a court official said.
Madonna's adoption of David has been controversial because many felt that she was given special treatment. There are laws in the country's books that basically prevented non-citizens from adopting in Malawi. Blah blah blah.
She's giving that boy a good home!
Things are finally looking more positive than negative for Madge and family.

Oh please! If I were the Judge on her case I'd tell her ass to be in court on the original date because the country has already bent their back enough for her. If the kid was all that important to her she'd reschedule work and make little David come first.
why is it so much trouble to adopt a kid when there are children (and adults ) dying of starvation every minute?
I thought the point of adoption was to take in orphans, not kids who already have parents like David Banda who has a father. I'm sure there were no other orphaned kids in Africa. Right. Madonna's a dumb bitch who needs to stop doing stupid shit for publicity's sake.
I wonder why these stars insist on adopting kids from out of the country when we have plenty of kids here who need to be adopted. I guess it is just another publicity thing for them.
