They didn't perform. The crowd didn't scream as loud as back in the day. They got old. The fans got old. It was kinda lame.

First of all I AM NOT OLD!!! I am 27yrs old and a HUGE NKOTB fan. The crowd was so loud that you couldn't even hear them talking. This was kind of a last minute thing so many fans were unable to attend. Wait until May 16th and see how many fans with be there. As far as them getting old have you looked in the mirror lately Perez??????

Anytime a piece of my youth is brought back, it's amazing. I went and saw NKOTB live at the Iowa State Fair when they were with Tiffany and Tommy Page. I will never forget it.
They will have new music… and I can't wait to hear it.

i saw it..the fans were pretty amped for them. but, remember, their tween and teen fans are now grown adults who are working and cant take off work to see them. so their daughters and friends and younger fans did…
they look good..though donnie is starting to show his age…
personally, I always thought Danny Wood was the hot one. Though he does have 'the meth face"–i know at one point, he was battling drugs and i assume has gotten over that. he's actually a pretty talented singer producer in his own right and was fronting a band at one point…
but, danny looked good as hell and i would give him some bootay!!! really, i would.

It was pouring down raina nd people had been in the cold for hours, I thought the scream factor was pretty loud.

I was in their demographic when they were popular and now I don't have the same sort of taste in music at all. Do they really think that they can update their sound to be relevant with todays music? I am going to have to say NO!

They are smart not to perform and "reunite" all in one day. They are drawing out the publicity by returning on May 16th for a performance. It's called milking the publicity! The fans did scream loud - I actually had to turn up the volume on my TV just to hear the interview. I'm totally jazzed for the upcoming tour!

OMG! I was there and it was amazing!! During the commercial breaks they went around to all the fans, to me and other girls around me the guys shook our hands and thanked us for coming. I couldnt hear anything they were saying to the today show hosts because of all the screams.

i would still do "almost" anything to get tickets to one of their reunion shows. they rocked back then and they rock now. i've been waiting for this for months. their #1 hits cd has been permantly playing on repeat in my car for weeks. Oh and I actualy prefer the Knight brothers, but to each their own.

I loved New Kids so much back in the day and I am so excited about this "comeback". Honestly, we know its not going to revolutionize the music scene but we love it for what it is anyway. The boys, err, men look great and everything about them reminds me of the simple, innocent days with no worries and no real responsibilites. Love ya, Perez, but don't rain on our parade. This 30 year old stay-at-home mom thought the News Kids looked fantastic this morning. I think they're hotter now than they were then in their sleek suits. Can't wait for their album and tour and to scream with all the other 30 year old fans out there. It's what we've been waiting for all these years!!!!! They've still got it!

Their fans were far from lame and far from quiet. The hosts could not be heard due tot he screaming fans who had everything from pins to hats to denin NKOTB jackets. Clearly you're way off on this one.

i totally disagree! the fans were so loud i could barely hear the questions being asked of the boys and they themselves could not really hear. i think they handled themselves very professionally and it was raining! a ton of people showed up because NKOTB is very well respected and loved. and those who say otherwise are just hypocryts because you know they rocked out to their music back in the day!
