that's because here in Connecticut…we could care less about her.
Avril Lavigne tickets sold out in less than 15 minutes leaving fans like 17-year old Amanda Fantin, who waited in line for 14 hours, in tears.
"I cried," said Fantin. "I was four people away when it sold out."
With many believing the line-up presented a better chance than the virtual waiting room online, the line-up snaked around the arena made up of several hundred fans. Fantin estimated that she was about 50 or so people away from the start of the line.
"It went so fast. They were only taking three at a time. Not all the toll booths were working because of the Pow Wow."
This is not the first time she has sat in line all night to get tickets. Fantin also pulled an all nighter, getting frost bite and hypothermia, to buy her parents tickets to the Elton John concert.
She figured that she would be able to get tickets to see the Canadian punk rock singer because she was at a similar place in line.
However, this show sold out much faster.
"Everyone started screaming (when they annouced it was sold out) and got on their cell phones to the radio station," she said. "I just stood there in line for another 1/2 hour in case someone felt sorry for me and had some extra tickets."

she does not treat her fans like crap-i met her 2 weekends ago at mur mur in atlantic city- she was so nice!!! afteri asked her to take a picture, she said yes so gave the camera to her security guard who couldn't/didn't care to take the pic of us- so he went to hand it back to me. Avril grabbed it from him and held it out and took the picture of us herself. Someone who doesn't care about their fans wouldn't have cared to take that extra step!

1- He may never of had credibility, but he flat out lies about Avril and there is youtube and concert goers to prove it, so it's not just me being a fan
2- I am almost 25, so I think I am grown enough to know that my music taste does not have to reflect yours.
Good for you that you don't like Avril, dosn't mean she can't sing. I don't like Elvis for 1, does not mean he was not a great performer, singer, whatever, just means he is not my thing.

By the way, I saw her concert Tuesday and it was fantastic, I was right up in the front and it was awesome. Even people that were commenting on how they heard she sucks live, were all praising her by the end.

What is the Canadian city you are reffering to?
I only ask because I know she sold out in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, London, Kingston.
I havn't checked the western venues but I was sure she sold out Victoria as well.
ok peeps here's how it goes every single concert that has ever been done or made no matter what the musician is they always have concert tickets that they put aside for contests or to give away thats how it is it's not a big deal god perez you post things up and u make it seem good to ur advantage so u can make fun of it you dont know anything about alot of the things you post and thats why alot of peopel dont like u cause u only tell half of the story…ur half.

If you truly were at her concert then you would know it was SOLD OUT. Maybe you were looking at the Bell Centre before the lights when out and that is why it wasn't full. I get my source from 2 things
1- I tried to buy tickets on ticketmaster.ca a couple days before and I coudnt even get 2 tickets
2- I have all my family in the Montreal area and my aunt and her daughters went and reported it was packed.
I don't like Beer period, I drink girlie drinks.
I also tried to buy ones for Toronto, which was Sold Out and I saw her in Kingston on Tuesdaya dn it was Sold Out 10 minutes after the tickets went on sale.
I seen her My World and Under My Skin tours at the Bell Centre, and even though it was before all of her changes, it was always packed and Sold Out both times.
The only place between the eastern provinces I could tell was not Sold Out was Ottawa, but reviews say it was almost Sold Out

I would seriously die to have Avril take a picture of me and her. I am seriously in love with Avril. Which is weird because I am a straight female, but there is something about her that makes me melt.
I have seen her 4 times in concert, most recently April 8th 2008 in Kingston Ontario. It was an amazing SOLD OUT in 10 minutes experience. Best concert of hers as well. Not only were the dancers really cool, but I was first row. Well we were stamnding, but I was way up on the gate and even made friends with Jay, the security guy.
Kingston is pretty much neighbour to Napanee, so this was like her homecoming. KROC centre just opened Febuary and she seemed very overwhelmed to be home. She even noticed her old neighbour in the audience, he was near where I was so very close to stage.
She sang wonderfully, she was energetic, big smile the whole way through, interacted more then usual and our set lasted almost 90 minutes. I was hoping she would be doing special things seeing as she was home, and she did, she even told us how her whole family was there to.
I wanted to buy VIP ticks, but my friend woudnt pay the money, next time i will pay for her to have VIP to cuz I need to meet Avril and tell her that anyone witha brain to be able to research would not beleive Perez.
Even my 60 year old boss who has box seats to almost every show here, he went with his wife (no children) and he thought that she was very good and he only went for shits and giggles because it was a big deal here.
perez hilton is interesting. well not really but that's a nice way to say some other stuff i would rather not.

I like avril actually. I saw her in concert in 2002 and she is a really good performer.She can sing,play guitar and jump around on stage with a lot of energy. She is quite talented, unlike some artists (ashlee simpson).I have front row tickets to her show at mohegan and am looking forward to it much.
By the way, she was in Montreal about a week ago and she told the crowd "I'm so happy to be home, in ONTARIO!!!!" She's from Napanee, Ontario which is about 4 hours away from Montreal, QUEBEC!!! Dumb B*tch

Holy Macaroons. Do you drive like 40 on the highway. I am in Kingston which is what, 15 minutes away from Napanee and it takes me about 2.5 hours to drive to Montreal going maybe 10 over, Imagine at 20 over. HAHAHAHAH
And Perez has already got dibs on announcing her misaps. I am from Montreal adn I can see some being insulted. My aunt went with my cousins. They had a great time and they did nto even say anything about her comment.
She was great in Kingston and got the city and province right

Serves her right for making such awful music that I'd rather hear a parrot scream into my eardrum. I loved her old music, but not anymore.
