The media in Australia is reporting about this father and daughter that have an incestuous sexual relationship…..and they have had a child together!
So wrong. So fucked up! This man needs to go to jail and have a brain transplant! What was he thinking????
The Daily Telegraph says:
Father, daughter have child together
A SOUTH Australian father and daughter have revealed they are a couple, and have had a child together.
John and Jenny Deaves reunited 30 years after Mr Deaves separated from Jenny's mother.
Jenny was 31 and just two weeks after meeting, father and daughter had sex.
"John and I are in this relationship as consenting adults," Mrs Deaves told the Nine Network's 60 Minutes tonight.
"We are just asking for a little bit of respect and understanding."
Their nine-month-old daughter Celeste, shown on TV, appears fit and healthy.
Mrs Deaves said soon after reuniting with her father she began to see him as a man first and her father second.
"I was looking at him, sort of going, oh, he's not too bad," she said.
"Like you might look at a man across the bar at a nightclub."
Mrs Deaves brought two children, Samantha and Alex, into the relationship after splitting from her former partner.
Mr Deaves admitted that he "initially" thought having sex with his daughter was wrong.
"Emotions take over, as people no doubt realise, there are times during your life where emotions do rule the heart, it rules the head," he said.
"I knew it was illegal, of course I knew it was illegal but you know, so what."
Mrs Deaves said the physical relationship with her father was like "a sexual relationship with any other man".
For Mr Deaves the sexual relationship was "absolutely fantastic".
A South Australian police media spokesman said "the couple is being monitored".

But for the people that say that its good that it didnt happen as a child, its because they were seperated for 30 years (and he wasnt there when she was growing up) that they are having this. There is no 'ick' factor for them cause he wasnt around when she was growing up, so they dont have the sense of 'father-daughter' relationship. Its called GSA- Genetic Sexual Attraction. But I severely hope that her mother/his ex-wife is dead or something cause that would be way disturbing if she had to witness this.

I live in Australia and yep - sadly this is true. Added to this is the fact this isnt the couple's first baby - they had another kid that died due to a heart defect.

I think the fact that most of you are missing is the fact that these two did NOT grow up together, so the feelings you have for your father (or mother) are NOT present in this relationship. These two met almost as STRANGERS, and therefore did not initially think "this is my relative." (thank you those of you who are mentioning that this is a classic story of Genetic Sexual Attraction which is a very real psychological phenomena.) Also, keep in mind, this man is NOT a sexual predator - they BOTH initiated a sexual relationship - she is not a 10 year old, she's a 31 year old ADULT. He is NOT going to attack their common daughter, if they stick together she is going to be raised like any other child, she is not going to be a STRANGER like his daughter he has the relationship with. I must say i will not condone such an act….it is disgusting and repulsive…..but i must also contend that i have experienced such "weird" feeling before. I have a half brother i lived with when i was a toddler…..we separated and never had any relationship or connection for so many years. He is presently a married man with his wife and three kids……i got done with college and i was finding it difficult supporting myself. his family took me in his home…..after a couple of uneventful moments….i realized that i had some form of attraction for him…it was very intense and unusual…..i though it was because i had gay tendencies or i was just sexually frustrated….lol…..it became unbearable to the extent of me moving out of his house…..he kept calling and coming over to my new place just to enquire how i was faring……the more i made contact with him, the much more i liked him………i nearly went round the bend….i didn’t understand what was going on….he is my brother for heavens sake….i lamented to myself….this cannot be happening…….so much happened afterwards but luckily or unfortunately enough for me i never had intimate relationship with him…..as at now i have cut any contact with him …..i still have that strong sexual desire anytime i think about him…..so i guess i am not abnormal…….these folks took it a little bit too far……..studies of such interactions between humans needs to be conducted and researched into…

But at least to make it not quite so disturbing, keep in mind the fact they said she was 31 when she reunited with her father and he had separated from her mother 30 years ago. That means she hasn't seen the man or had a relationship with him since she was a baby. Of course I would have hoped the fact that the man was biologically her father would rule out the possibility of a sexual relationship, but its not like this was her dad who raised her. Biologically he is her father, but emotionally and all of that he was nothing to her. But still, gross. And that poor baby.

Kayla, there is indisputable evidence that children born to people that are genetically related have much, much higher risks for all types of deformities and birth defects. That is why this is wrong. Also, you cannot make exceptions to laws without it spiraling out of control. If the norm becomes "sure, a father can sleep with his daughter, as long as she is an adult", how long before it becomes as long as she is a teenager? And then as long as she is six? You just can't start down the slippery slope of making exceptions because then all the lines of where to stop are blurred.
