ummm no. Greenday's Basket case is great… and this just is… not. Its totally boring and although the vocals are pretty, its just not a good cover at all. I couldn't even listen to it the whole thing through.

Green day is my fav band (after the Beatles) so I did a double when I saw them as I scrolled down the page.
Not a big fan of this cover. The original is brilliant because it is a fast and it matches the neurotic theme.

This version goes to show how simplistic Green Day songs are…it sounds just like a nursery rhyme. GD might be one of the most popular American bands "ever" but they are certainly not the most talented.

Greenday is a great band…atleast they were when Dookie came out which had a much better version than this mainstream acoustic crap that singer/songwriter billy joe said he would "never" do. Do what pays right? However, to say that they are one of the best American bands ever just goes to show how amazingly shitty your taste in music is Perez. You throw a craptastic concert with noname craptastic pop bands and you bash great bands like Radiohead who still strive to put out original creative music…YOUR TASTE IN MUSIC SUCKS.
