Many, including at least one of the judges, thought that Mimoo was lipsynching!!!

It actually seems like shes rly singing to me. maybe sum parts were lipsynced, but it was still rly good.

Well, the video sucks. It does not look like she was lipsny. She has a lot of add in vocals when she performs live and that could be mistaken for it. Who knows for real, but I would hardly doubt mariah was doin it!

You're dead on. He IS stupid. He's been recycling his own "hits" for years now, leeching like a vampire onto the winners of the show to keep him in the spotlight. They're always trying to sell him as a "Titan of pop music", but the biggest hit he's had in the past ten years was a) sung by someone other than him and b) written by someone other than him.
Part of why he's successful is the fact that he's always got to say something nasty, raunchy or ambiguous, so saying that Mariah lipsynched definitely worked for him.

This track sounds IDENTICAL to the one at the London gig. The same vocal inflections, cut offs, background vocals. Really.
She's not lipping. Its obvious that its live. She did the same routine in the UK and the Hills and they were also live. Perez just wants someone new to sabotage. But it won't work since MC is extrememly talented.

The recent occurrence of lipsyncing by Mariah, stems from The Hills Season Premier event. She struggled to sing live that evening, which even made me uncomfortable just watching her. I also noticed that she was panting quite a bit when she attempted to hit the high notes This could easily be rectified. All Mariah has to do is put the same dedication and focus in her singing as she does in getting her body in tip-top shape. We all know that the girl has a good set of pipes, maybe it just needs unclogging and maintenance. I hope she does something about it before it gets out of hand.
She is better w/the ballads….and maybe the occasional r&b shit. Her latest music has been a waste of air time on the radio. I can't stand artists who lipsynch when they're supposed to sing "live". I've seen Mimi do this at the Grammys and other events. I think that it's crazy to paid money to see artists who lipsynch. $125 to see fake singing is a rip off. Or to that matter using what's called a "guide track". If you don't know your song by now, why do it at all. Yes, I know you do it for the money and ego. But artists should be called on this. This act is like Barry Bonds on steroids.

Well, 1. Mimi hasn't been singing in a while, she's been cooing, whispering, and it's all about one thing in her songs - it's not her voice, that's for sure.
2. German idol is pure trash (take a German's word on it). There's no talent on this show, so the fact that Mimi even showed up….why should she sing live on trash tv?

Sorry to inform you people but she was TOTALLY Lip-synching. She went in and recorded this before she left the US! It's not uncommon for her to do this. I'm surprised she didn't do it for her SNL performance… ( which was horrible ) but, just KNOW she is the QUEEN of going in to punch lines and singing things over to throw the public off!!! Anyone with any experience with TV in Europe knows that 99% of all artists lip synch. The economics of bringing your own band, sound crew etc…, and the shit sound at most European TV shows makes it suicide to even try and sing live. This is not a case of someone that can't sing lipsynching, she sings great… plus if you have any knowledge of how things work in a recording studio Mariah sings all of her own background vocals on her records… its just the way she's done things for the last 10 years.. get over it.. the girl can sing…
