And, it looks like she totally lipsynched (once more) her performance of Touch My Body.
Maybe it's just something Mimi does in Europe??? That's one of the theories lambs have been telling us.
We kinda expect more from Mariah, though.

i can't tell cuz the quality of the vid isn't very good. thats strange that she would lipsync though….the only time that type of shiz is okay is when the singer's doin some crazy old dance routine. no one wants to hear them huffin' and puffin' while they're tryna sing and dance at the same time. i don't think that's the case w/ good ole mimi though…i've never really seen her dance…i think it's cuz her big knockers weigh her down. just a thought.
She is def not lip synching. I mean, it's not as if she is singing her heart out in this performance, but you can totally hear that she is singing.

she's not lip synching.. its a back track. on the deeper sounding parts of the song ("i know that you've been waiting..") the back track is louder since thats harder to sound good singing live but when it gets to the "if there's a camera up in here" you can tell its her real voice b/c it doesnt sound like the original song. plus when she gets to the high notes you can here her voice crack.

It's definitely not mimed. Or at least there was no intention of miming. Just the chorus has a backtrack playing and you can't even hear Maria's voice over it. But the rest of that song you can tell by the ringyness and slightly off tone (at certain parts) that she's sung it live.

She isn't lip synching and you don't have to listen too closely to tell. I listened to both videos posted on this site and they're different from one another. The fact is that the backup vocals are amazing and sound just like the original track, which makes it seem like there might be a backup track, but in both instances she is totally singing the song. Her voice even seems strained, so I don't understand why anyone would go to the length of putting on a track where their own voice seems strained when they could just put on the original and mime it. Isn't that against the purpose?! She sounds great, her voice is a little tired people, give it a break. Also just one last comment, I've been reading all of these Mariah vs Madonna posts and I find them absolutely ridiculous. I'm not going to defend one or the other they both have their own very distinct body of work and I really don't see how they're comparable. I love listening to both actually. Hey, i'm from the UK and i saw this and i saw Mariah Carey on "T4" and "The Friday Night Project" and she was lipsyncing!! It's so obvious, I mean I have always thought that she does that everywhere she goes but maybe she sings ive in some other places! but i dont really think its all her fault!! Most tv stations in the UK and some in Europe don't let singers sing live as it doesn't sound as good! Channel 4 (which is where Paul o Grady adn FNP and T4 are shown) never lets singers sing! lol Even in a HUGE concert they have "T4 On The Beach" they make most artists mime!!! xx
