Funny, around the world be able to speak several languages is appreciated but not in the US where the less you know about the rest of the world seems to be something to be proud.

I can talk about you country because I lived there and that is the impression most of your people passed on, not just to me but to a lot friends of mine. And I learned to speak castellano, is not that was speak in portuguese or english to people there. You country should appreciate more extrangeiros special students because we are expending money there and not working, is good for you economy.

david bisbal was a bad choice for this song, he's too classically spanish sounding… shouldve been luis fonsi or victor manuelle… their voices would go better for the english pop sound

There are so many language spoken through out the world and in the United States people speak several languages other than just English or Spanish. Also, those people who do speak more than one language are the ones who have more opportunities available to them.

A mi me parece curioso que es raro encontrarse con un sudamericano que no conozca su herencia española, sin embargo los norteaméricanos no conocen ninguno sus raices españolas, estuvimos en norteamerica antes que los ingleses, y en un monton de estados como en Nuevo México se puede ver la influencia española por todos los lados, los ranchos son un derivado de los cortijos andaluces y los cowboys son una copia de los vaqueros españoles, pero los norteamericanos parecen desconocer toda su herencia española, solo conocen la inglesa, supongo que es por que les han educado los ingleses, y les han educado en la ignorancia de todo lo no anglosajón, en fin es una lástima.
Sólo hay que ver todas las ciudades estadounidenses que tienen nombres de santos españoles, San Diego, San Antonio, San francisco, etc. Tienen nombres de santos españoles porque las fundamos nosotros y les pusimos el nombre, pero nada los estadounidenses no quieren darse cuenta.
