hey perez! So happy you love this Aussie show! Its a massive hit over here, and the guy that writes, directs and acts in the show - Chris Lilley - has been nominated for a "golden logie" at the logie awards - which is the Australian equivelant to the Emmy awards in America!
Im from Sydney Australia where this is supposed to be based.
Its a good show, however alot of people were offended by the release of this song as Chris Liley the creator was sued for writing about the student 'Jessica' who died at a festival taking an ecstacy tablet.
Its pretty sad people have sent in videos being sluts and whores but i guess if its going overseas he's done a pretty good job!

Re: d – it's an awesome australian comedy show set in a high school, and the shows creator is also the star (he plays 3 different characters in this one). Jessica is a girl @ the school that dies from an overdose, and the teacher (mr G -played by Chris lilly aka god) writes a musical about Jessica (staring himself). it's so kick ass. you all need to watch it!!

People who think this is sick, you have to watch the show. Its a hilarious show about the stereotypes that go around at every aussie school. I know for a fact that everyone could relate to seeing these types of charcters around, wheher australia wants to admit it or not. The show was absolutely hilarious and i dont know one kid who didnt love it.
And if you read the part at the start of the song, it says that the people SEND IN THEIR own footage of them performing the song. They didnt commission it. Dont take stuff so seriously guys, its a bit of fun : )

I'm from Sydney… and before people take their moral high-ground can I just tell you what the show is about and then maybe you will be able to understand what Chris Lilley (the creator) is doing. He is parodying certain social groups within Australian society, and obviously significantly exaggerating them for comedic purposes. For example, the private school girl, islanders and sexually questionable diva's (Mr G.)
This show reached cult status last year. Everyone talked about it, everyone was quoting it and it was a huge huge success. I'm not sure if it will get the same response if it airs in America though, because there are lots of references to Australian culture. Nonetheless, you should give it a go.
Chris Lilley has also made another "mockumentary" named We Can Be Heroes, that is equally as hilarious. It follows the journey of five Australians who are attempting to become the Australian of the Year, (an award recognising achievement, dedication, selflessness in a certain field.) It also features Ja'mie King for the first time, the private school girl who was modelled on the area in which I live - the North Shore in Sydney.
Us aussies know how to party.
