Idol beauty Carrie Underwood revealed to TV's Extra that her break up with Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford was done via text.
Underwood admitted, "It was completely mutual…We're both fine…We broke up over text so…It's like 'peace out. It just didn't work…And we both knew it didn't work and no hard feelings at all whatsoever."
First of all…. How cold and impersonal!!!!
Secondly, Did she dump HIM via text or did he dump herrrrrR????
Also, why would Carrie ever reveal this publicly??????

Well, Chace's SISTER said he was incredibly heartbroken about the breakup. I dont think she would make that up, and I think that means he got dumped….prob because carrie was sick of his party boy ways. Hes too young for her.

I live in Nashville and am friends with some of her band members. It is well known around town what a shrew Carrie Underwood turned out to be. She started off a sweet little girl from OK. But once things started going well for her, she started thinking a little too highly of herself. It's such a shame
The E! show Daily 10 reported about their break up last week and said Carrie dumped Chace.

I think she decided to reveal that cos the guy's big mouth sister and his friends went yapping to People Magazine about how heart broken he was and blah blah blah… The article kind of made her out to be a bad person so maybe that's why she did it
She hooked up with another guy (non-celebrity) at a party in Nashville months ago…they've been over for awhile.
Carrie is a nice person- not a bitch! Some of you have NO clue what you are talking about. I am sure she is sad- she said she has been eating ice cream and was bummed out…but that she is ok being single. She is clearly trying to show a brave face- but who doesn't after a break up? She did not bash chace at all- stayed classy as always- and did not reveal the reason for their breakup. To say it did not work- reveals nothing. She was basically trying to confirm the breakup without bashing chace. What is wrong with that?

well normally i would say that its a total wuss move to breakup with someone over phone/email/text. you should always do it face to face (unless of course you think you might be in danger by doing so in person-their are some unstable people out there)…

First of all, how do you all not know he sent the first text. They do live in different states and she is always on tour. He is a partier. Maybe he sent the first one so how is that her fault. He seems more of the bad guy in this.
Sometimes it's better to break up via texing. Not because you're chicken or anything. I had to dump my ex via text because I knew he'd get violent.
