The Golden Girls are leaving Lifetime!
That's right, the beloved '80s sitcom, the original Sex & The City, is jumping ship.
PerezHilton.com has learned that the show will now be airing on the WE network Hallmark Channel.
This is just too much to handle!

I LOVE The Golden Girls!!! I have the first 2 seasons on DVD. But the fact that they aired the show at 9am, 4pm and 1am rocked!!! Plus that's the only reason I started to watch Reba, Still Standing, Frasier, Will & Grace and even some of their movies. Someone start a petition!!! WHAT? I have watched Golden Girls on LIFETIME for OVER and I repeat OVER a decade on LIFETIME. I was always happy to know that they were on both morning and evening on lifetime for YEARS. Lifetime has gone WAY downhill for the past 7+ years. They feel they must mimic every other channel out there, when they were original with their Made for TV movies + showing the GG's to break the day up was phenominal. NOW? They are the worst at restructuring their lineups and shows.
