That's right, the beloved '80s sitcom, the original Sex & The City, is jumping ship.
PerezHilton.com has learned that the show will now be airing on the WE network Hallmark Channel.

I'm watching GG right now. One of the best sitcoms ever. As long as Hallmark airs it enough, it's all good. I am night person, I hope they keep airing it late. The Odd Couple has been airing at 2am in the NY area. I miss shows like Taxi, Family Ties, Facts Of Life, Mr. Belvedere, Wonder Years. TV Land should be airing those shows, but don't.

Yes! My husband loves it and will watch it when I'm not even there and he's not "feminine" whatsoever. The Golden Girls will always be my favorite show of all time. When I watch it, I get a sense of comfort..it's weird but I do. It's like "home" almost. Love those gals! Golden Girls is/was Lifetimes "bread and butter" I am boycotting Lifetime. However if the new channel shows it more..then it will end up being a good thing.

I loooooove "Golden Girls." I have the first 2 seasons on DVD - Lifetime is so stupid, but I am not surprised they are dropping the ball. They have slowly been phasing GG out of their schedule andputting it on only one a day and at some unGodly hour - like 7 in the morning or some stupid shit. How dare they?? The GG was one of the favorite shows of the current Queen Elizabeth AND the Queen Mum!! So much so back in 1987 or so the four ladies performed an episode live at Royal Albert Hall with the Queen, her mom and Princess Margaret in the audience!
