The Golden Girls are leaving Lifetime!
That's right, the beloved '80s sitcom, the original Sex & The City, is jumping ship.
PerezHilton.com has learned that the show will now be airing on the WE network Hallmark Channel.
This is just too much to handle!

I remember this one time back in St. Olaf………………….
I'm shocked to see that the girls are still making more episodes. They look so good…ah, HOLLYWOOD. From what I understand, Estelle Getty is doing much better and enjoys still being one of the girls. I can't wait to see them on the Hallmark channel. I was beginning to recognize some repeats on Lifetime. When will production begin? Wouldn't it be great to be invited to watch the four of them make their magic??? I hope they get some new sets…Blanche's house needs updating with granite counters and full baths for all. I always felt sorry about Sophia having to share her bathroom. Maybe they can win some money and move into something a little larger like Maralago. Sophia in a huver makes sense. It would be great if they had a large domestic staff.
Re: FUCK LIFFETIME – I totally agree…even Will & Grace has gotten boring. At least with T Golden Girls you could expect something new every episode. I love the way they chose to design the entire show around the 1980's. Maybe Rosie O'Donnel could be their neighbor…or Housekeeper…let Wanda Sykes be their Trust Officer…keep the old giezers off the show…enough with the age spots. I can't wait!
what the hell does any channel even realize the killing they would make if they aired all the true classics from the 70s and 80s?? Such as 8 is enough, family, little house on the prairie, punky brewster, facts of life, diff'rent strokes, webster, just the 10 of us, family ties, cosby show, and called it the best channel ever and played commercials from the 70s and 80s music videos from that time sign me up to be the president it would be awesome.

Wouldn't it be fun if Mary-Kate Olsen was the hostess and introduced the shows with interesting trivia about their production staff and stars? As for Retro Commercials…well, I agree that they would be cool, but some of the products no longer exist or have been proven to cause cancer, etc. Just the same…a clever computer graphics designer could make them entertaining. What a great idea…from your post to Hollywood's ear.
The Golden Girls are my 'morning coffee' before work every morning. This is BULLSHIT. I'm gonna have to resort to watching the Today Show?? Ugh.

The DVDs are expensive especially if you're living on a fixed income like the four of them are. How can they afford it? At least they showed us how to install a toilet and to bust a neighbor wanted by the feds. I'm amazed that Blanche's character never got Hep C like Pamela Anderson. Does anyone know when their last episode is? I want to be sure to record it on my VHS.

i watch the Golden Girls every morning from 8-9 (two episoids) while i get ready for work. My cat even watches it with me as he lays across my make up case! I love that show i remember watching it when i was little with my grandma and not liking it, cause i didnt understand it and now i love it! its hilarious!

I have been watching this show for over a decade. I schedule my classes around it and watch it at 9, 4, and 1. This is my all time favorite show and I will do whatever to save it.
