The National Enquirer is reporting that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are on the verge of breaking up.
Finally!
They've supposedly been in a 'break up-make up' cycle for months. Nick is apparently sick of Minnillo pressuring him to put a ring on her finger and give her babies, among other things.
We think that's what she wanted from the first moment they hooked up!

Vanessa's career post-TRL has gone NOWHERE. Girlfriend's become all sorts of desperate!
The Enquirer goes on to report that their issues were "on public display" at the end of last month at LA's popular celeb hangout, Katsuya. According to an eyewitness, they “sat in stone silence for more than 30 minutes after having what appeared to be an argument. As they left that night, Vanessa was in tears sitting next to Nick who was gripping the steering wheel of the car.”
Another source wouldn't be shocked if "Nick is sick of her." At a birthday bash for basketball star Baron Davis, Vanessa “had a good bit to drink, and she turned into a bitchy high school drama queen.” The source goes on to say that 'Nessa was totally rude to some people and then flirted with a bunch of athletes, hung all over other guys, rude to fans who wanted her autograph and spent half the evening sneering at other female guests.
Sounds like someone was trying to get her boyfriend jealous. Grow up!

I hope this is true - at first, I was all for them because I thought that they BOTH deserved better than what they had. Vanessa put up with Derek's cheating and Bless Nick for putting up with Jessica's dumb ass PERIOD! But then I heard that Vanessa will latch onto any man that she thinks will help her career. Now that she doesn't have a career, she's trying to marry someone's wallet. She needs to grow up and realize that a man who JUST GOT A DIVORCE is in NO HURRY to get married again!
I think Vanessa gets a bad rap…not saying she's perfect but at one point I think her career was definately on the upswing. She was memorable and great looking when she was a finalist "Wild On"…I remember her. Her looks and personality definately got her the gigs on TRL which led to ET. I don't know if hooking up with Nick has helped or hurt. I liked them as a couple but he just strikes be as an overgrown frat boy at times…not an attractive trait at 34. They both seem to have things to sort out. Don't see him back with jessica for obvious reasons but damn he moved fast into that relationship with Vanessa. I was on the same flight as these two from LA to Houston, and I have to say…they were actually incredibly sweet. I was in full view of Nick on the flight and he was watching Basketball. Yawn. ANYWAY, when we got off in Houston, the flight attendants made Nick and Vanessa wait till everyone was off the aircraft (presumably so they could get autographs/pics, etc). It was weird because they were standing there with their bags facing the exit and clearly didn't understand why they couldn't just leave. The weirdest part was I was standing next to both of them looking at the connecting flights board and they seemed so normal - no minders to help them, no special little buggy to cart them around. Just like anyone else getting from one gate to another, was kinda nice to see!
