I agree with everyone saying it's false advertisement. The title makes you invision someone born a man who either stayed a man & got pregnant, or had a sex change. There is a difference between sex & gender, so if you still have a vagina & uterus u are still sexually a woman. The transgendered confuse people because it's not clear cut, there's no line. People need lines, its how we work. It might be stupid but we do tend to reduce things to black & white.
Also, by making it public they have put a target on the kid's head. No one might have guess their family was different. But I have noticed, kids are fine with their family until everyone else tells them its wrong. The kid will not be confused until he is told to be.

I just lost some of my respect for Joy since she referred to Thomas as a "she."
These women are so ill informed and for anyone who knows anything about the topic of trans people, you would understand that being gay and being trans are different and that someone can be both or just the one. It is not a choice so much as it is an obligation to one's body, people who change sexes are not freaks, they were in a sense born into the wrong body, and feel like the opposite sex. In this case, although not having completed the surgery in full, he is still a man. It is the idea of mind over body and that is what people do not understand. In essence, the fact that he is able to still have the baby means that these people, people like anyone else, can enjoy a fulfilling life with a child. Who is anyone to deny them that. So stop worrying and poking fun at this man, who is just trying to live his life and get to where he is accepted.
For those of you who make idiotic comments about circus freaks and so on, it only shows your lack on knowledge on the subject, and your lack of acceptance towards all people.

I live in the same town as this couple and surprisingly people are actually supportive. I think that it's alright for them to have their own biological child HOWEVER I think that it's wrong how they are putting it out there for the world to see. They claim they want to be a normal family in this society but now that everyone knows the truth their lives will be anything but normal. I believe they are only doing it for money and fame and they should have thought about the welfare of this child before plastering it all over the media. Any loving parents would have considered that before anything else. I feel very sorry for that child.
