Uh oh, like we predicted, Rosie O'Donnell is MAD!
A recent cover story in The Globe just ran a story with the headline "Raging Rosie Bullies Her Boy."
The magazine photos of O'Donnell in what appeared to be an argument with her son Parker, in late March.
The article went on to describe Rosie as abusive and stated she manhandled her 12 year old son.
The article also claimed that Rosie was probably subjecting her other three children to emotional damage by verbally abusing her son in front of them.
Rosie's publicist, however, is firing back. She says, "The story is absolutely ludicrous and ridiculous. There is no truth to it whatsoever."
Not only is it ludicrous, but it's ridiculous too!
O'Donnell's publicist didn't say if Rosie would be taking this matter to court, but we think she might!
Her rep did mention that Rosie has done a lot of work for children. In 1997, she started the Rosie's For All Kids Foundation, which up to date has awarded over $22 million in grants to over 1,400 child-related organizations.
Rosie has spent the past few years promoting positive family values through her R Family Cruises.
Her publicist also added, "I would put The Globe at the bottom of the bird cage."
The Globe will likely issue a retraction, and then next week they'll say that she's having a lesbian love affair with an alien.
That'd be hot!

Orlando - please quit screaming at all of us Perezsters.
A couple of things are shocking about the story.
First - A Mom is interacting and spending time with her son. Do most parents even do that anymore? No. Kids are sitting behind an X-Box, interacting only with a computer screen.
Second: That anyone would suggest that a Mom physically pulling on her teenagers arm while they are walking together is child abuse. Ridiculous.
Real child abuse is out there but this isn't it. What's strange is that Rosie's son isn't screaming 'you've ruined my life' and that Rosie isn't frothing at the mouth out of frustration. Now that would be a true picture of 'parenting 101' during the teenage years.
Phuck you Globe for putting such a serious charge out there in order to sell your rubbishy tabloid.

I totaly believe that Rosie would be her kids….shes prob. a screamer, too!! She's just mad that someone caught her in the act. Say all you want about how great she is….. but there is something wrong with this woman!!!
I'm not a fan of Rosie … but I am a mother, and I know from experience a 12-year-old can drive you to rage. He was probably showing off and she asserted her rights as a mother.
Are you kidding me? Did none of you have any discipline growing up? never a tug by your mom with a: "That'll be enough!"?
By the sounds of it, a lot of you have not had disciplining in your lives. That's the problem.
Rosie and Kelli are great moms with appreciative, good kids.

Why do people insist on trying to turn children today into pussies?? That is such a load of bullshit. I have to "manhandle" my 1 and 3 year old GIRLS sometimes!!! People are so fucking stupid and need to mind their own business. It's funny how they will send a mother to jail for leaving her child alone in a LOCKED car for 2 minutes, but children are killed everyday by abusers that can't be prosecuted because there is no PROOF of abuse. Our government is so screwed up.
THE GLOBE IS TRASH !! ANYONE WHO EVEN QUESTIONS ROSIE'S COMMITMENT TO THE WELFARE AND WELLBEING OF CHILDREN, INCLUDING HER OWN NEEDS TO GET A MENTAL EVALUATION!! TEAM ROSIE!

i don't believe she "man handled" parker. if thats the case any time one of your kids through a tantrum in a store and fell on the floor and u grabbed their up to pick them up does that mean u man handled them. come on get a grip america.
Oh, I totally believe it. As others have pointed out, she's a volatile, aggressive, domineering, control freak. Right there in the picture, she's yanking on the kid's arm. I hope this doesn't just go away.
Re: jamss – I agree 100 %. Don't forget how the vile Rosie shouted out at the luncheon in New York honoring women in journalism to "eat her" as she grabbed her crotch. She was rude the other day while a guest on Martha Stewart's show by bringing up Martha's incarceration, to Martha's embarrassment.
Rosie appears to spend way too much time with her children = arts and crafts forced on them and there is no talent whatsoever imo - nothing but sh—y crap! She has an almost abnormal fixation with the camera and the youngest child, Vivi.
Rosie isolates her kids from the media by allowing no access to tv or the computer unlesss SHE allows and controls it - much like the victims of that compound in Texas that is currently under investigation.
Rosie's charities are suspect, imo. I read recently where she admitted taking monies that had been donated for her own use! That may have been something she herself put out on her blog or in one of her books.
Rosie is abusive, mentally ill and very likely alcoholic. She rejects her father, claiming abuse. That abuse is likely all a figment of her sick mind and Karma is now coming around to Rosie O'Donnell and it is high time.
Joan Crawford also "supported" causes for children.

I do not think she will sue as she would face a deposition along with Parker. She would not risk that as he would have a chance to tell all that goes on in that household. Just wait and see.
She is the supreme hypocrite. Rosie has made her millions from television and talks endlessly about the television she watched growing up but claims her children are not allowed to watch it because of the weird school they go to.
IMO she does not want them to watch tv or have access to the internet, as they would find out how she has acted on "The View" and in public and why she is despised.
For years it has been obvious that Rosie is mentally ill. It wouldn't surprise me at all if she takes it out on those close to her.
I don't doubt that she could be abusive - especially if the kid disagreed with her. She's a sicko…

This is the first time I have read comments on your blog, real classey Perez, are you accountable for your part in spreading this evil, have you looked at family photos on Rosie's blog, oh yeah those kids are abused alright, skate boards, pools, bikes, boats, pools, family christmas pj's. family vacations, Parker driving a golf cart, soccer, running, dogs, babies, grandparents, 2 beautiful homes, sure Perez those kids really look abused. YOU should be ashambed of yourself (how much of 22 millions dollars have you donated to childred, perhaps you are too greedy to donate to help children or perhaps your heart is so concerned for them you have adopted children. Re: Bernie Wood – She tries too hard to project an image of a happy family. Things, such as you list, are just that and materialism does not buy happiness. Rosie is very possibly another "mommy dearest." I don't care how much "stuff" a child has….that does not mean they are not being abused.
Don't you find it odd and bizarre that she puts out all those pictures of kids on her website. I can think of no other celebrity that does that. Most go to great lenths to preserve their privacy and object to the pappazazzi.
Rosie's kids have a stalking papparazzi around them constantly and its name is Rosie O'Donnell!
