Courtney Love is in London. The rock 'n' roll widow is planning to move there, and we aren't sure if that's the best idea ever.
Perhaps she should get a little "help" before doing anything else??????
It's been reported that Love suffers from bipolar disorder. On Wednesday night, Courtney fanned the flames of mental illness when she was photographed nonchalantly displaying her HUGE plastic baggie of prescription meds, as she was leaving the Groucho Club in London.
She's not even a senior citizen. Does she NEED that many pills?????

Re: A – Your situation may be different than hers - it most likely is. There is no one single plan of treatment for bi-polar. The thing with mental illness is that if you have one condition or disorder, you probably have multiple symptoms, i.e. anxiety, depression, attention deficit… She could have a myriad of problems (and probably does). While I commend you for getting help with your situation, you of all people should not condone the judgment and suspicion of people with mental illness.
Leave her alone Perez! We should be glad she's taking all those medictions - most bipolar people need more than one medication. The packaged gel caps on the side look like fish oil supplements, which perfectly healthy people take to promote heart health. Bipolar is a funky disease that may need up to 10 different medications to balance and control perfectly. We all know that she's bipolar, so what's the big deal about her leaving her meds in plain sight. Good for her. This disease needs to be put in the public eye so more people will get help and not be so ashamed!
The green and light green pills are prozac. One other looks like penicillin.

did it occur to you that maybe the fact that she has those prescriptions is because she is getting help. If you're as crazy as she is you need that many pills. I have a friend struggling with bipolar and a slew of other problems since we were in middle school, hes 26 now and takes about as many different pills as she is seen with

perez as much as i love your website and read it every day, i find your post and comments about courtney love discouraging. i am a young male who requires almost twice as many pills for day to day wellbeing. i believe that it is the irresponsible comments such as "pill popper," and "she's not a senior citizen does she even need those?" that give a bad name not only to courtney love but to people who are required to carry around specific medications throughout the day. love you perez, but choose your posts wisely.

Half your celebrity population seems to have been diagnosed with it in the last 12 months perhaps there is a link between botox and bi-polar or maybe its a symptom of excessive prozac use by you and your ancestors ultimately damaging dna and causing one hell of a messed up community. Whats wrong with y'all? Where Im from drugs are used to enhance happiness not needed to create happiness. I'm bipolar and I take a combo of 3 meds a day so yes, it's highly possible that she's taking them all legit. it sucks to have to take so many meds but when you have a genuine mental illness the meds can make the diff btwn life and death literally so cut her some slack if she's trying to clean up her act, isn't abusing pills and is trying to get her mental health issues under control. As for the loose pills they look more like vitamins - the large yellowish one looks like a fish oil capsule and the large white pills look more like a multi-vitamin or a calcium etc.
Granted her lips look damn freakishly huge in this pic but the angle of the camera sure doesn't help. could they get any closer?

Some people with Bipolar respond to therapy, some to one drug and some need a cocktail of drugs that treat different aspect of the illness. IF you get by on one count yourself fortunate and if you get by on one but you judge those who cant I doubt you are really bipolar or you would be more understanding. You are probably just a prepubescent 20 year old moron living on grandpas financial trust who does not know what you want to do with your life.
Perez…It could be that Courtney, not hiding her bag of meds is her way of “Coming out of the closet” so to speak and no longer living in denial about her illness. It may not be a cry for help but acknowledging she has gotten help. You and some of your readers are beginning to sound like Dr. Laura as well as Tom Cruise. People with mental illness usually take a lot of meds! I agree with everyone who says that she is likely trying to get help, and that those meds are necessary. I have depression, and I have to take one pill for that, but those keep me awake, so I also take a pill to help me go to sleep. Because of those pills, I have to take others to balance out certain chemicals in my stomach and liver. Add in birth control and allergy meds, and I think she really doesn't have that many, considering the severity of her illness. I believe it is one thing to make fun of, and publicly ridicule people who are obvious attention whores with no desire to get help for themselves (Lindsey and Paris, anyone?), or to dish about the latest hollywood hoookups but to bash someone who seems to be trying to pull their life together seems low. If she had cancer, and was throwing up after chemo, would you call her a drunk? Take a little time to investigate before you jump to conclusions. Thats generally what good reporters/bloggers do.
